Foreclosure.

He was always the thorn and I the rose,

I knew soon enough our love would foreclose.

We were once so attached and now far apart,

Going our separate ways was probably smart.

Who am I kidding and why should I lie?

When truth of the matter is I am crying inside.

We were what we will no longer be,

He believes so that we both do agree.

Together we were broken but my eyes seen us fixed,

Now that he is gone my heart is nothing but ripped.

The tears I have shredded since our depart,

All though have cleansed my soul and heart.

At one point in time I guaranteed you were my dream,

But I guess nothing truly is ever as it seems.

I have a new journey to travel and discover,

Some man out there will become my new lover.
