Stab my crippled heart no more,
My weary body is shuffling to the door.
For when thou wakes I shall be gone,
All for you to see will be dawn.
Keep my things and keep my clothes,
Keep all my thoughts and things I wished I never came to know.
I won’t come back and be with thee,
I’ll walk the road happy and free.
