The Climb

Your POV
"Dark, he's so dreamy, I can barely take my eyes off him. Wait they are trying to tell me something..."

"Shadow to Y/N" Shadow repetitively said in front of my face. I snapped out of my trance. "Wha?" I asked blankly. "Y/N, you've been staring at me for half an hour." Dark told me. I blushed red. "O-oh s-sorry." I said. "Come on let's just get climbing" Shadow said. "Why can't Dark just fly us up there?" I asked. "Lazy! The flower will view you as lazy!" Shadow snapped as she started climbing the steep mountain. "Flowers don't have view points..." Dark replied as he too started climbing. Finally, I started climbing. The hard surface of the rocks could easily cut a person's hand. Up, up we go. I wonder what Shadow is thinking right now.

Shadow's POV
"What an idiot Y/N is.. like come on! Fly up there? Someone can easily spot us! Also, what's the fun in that?!?!" I thought to myself as I lead the group higher and higher. I looked down and could see Y/N needed a break. "Don't worry Y/N I spot a ledge we can sit on for a break." I told
Y/N. Y/N simply nodded. We made it to the ledge, of course I scooted over to let them sit. "My hands! Bleeding!"Y/N halfway screamed. "Good, cause I'm hungry!" Dark said reaching over and grabbing Y/N's hands. He sucked the blood until he was not hungry. I bandaged Y/N up. I also pulled out snacks to eat. "We should keep climbing it's about noon and we don't want to be climbing at night." Dark said. "Yeah let's keep climbing" Y/N agreed. I nodded as we kept climbing. Finally, 4 hours and a half later we reached the top. "Finally!" I said exhausted.

Dark's POV

Upon reaching the top I felt sadness rush through my bones. Everything we've been through... is coming to an end. Yet I'll see Y/N again, I'll probably never see Shadow. I hugged Shadow, catching her by surprise but she hugged back. There, the flower. Steps away it lay, it seemed so peaceful. "Alright Dark go near the flower." I nodded and walked over to the flower. "Tell it what you want." As I told the flower, it ripped itself from the original place and landed in my hand. "Let's go." Y/N said. "Wait something doesn't feel right, it can't be this easy." I said to them. "Dark look behind you!" Shadow screamed. A demon taller than I am was standing there. "I challenge you to a fight to the death..."
