I was tossing and turning. I was asleep but I knew I was restless from nightmares. I bolted up-right and screamed in terror. The door opened with a jolt. Ward burst in. He looked worried
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah."
"Nightmare?"
"Yeah."
"It's okay I get them too." He turned to walk away
"Wait," He turned to face me
"Will you stay with me?"
"Always."
He walked up to my bed and got in with me. He laid down and held me in his arms. He must have heard I was crying
"Hey, it's okay. It's all over now. They aren't coming back."
"I know, it's just it still scares me."
"It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you, ever. And that's a promise."
"Thanks's Ward. You're amazing."
I felt my eyes get heavy and sleep take over me.
"Good night my little Fallen Angel." Was the last thing I heard.

I woke up in Wards arms. I looked up to see he was still sleeping, he started to stir and wake up. He looked down at me
"Good morning, Nem."
"Morning, Ward."
