After sitting at the bar and drinking a beer, Lydia was bored and was about to go look for Malia when suddenly an obviously drunk guy sat down next to her. She had never been a fan of public intoxication and was the type of girl that thought hard liquor was overrated. "Hey I'm J-Jackson." The blonde man spoke, slurring his words. "And I'm sober, nice to meet you." Lydia responded. Jackson was surprised. "Playing hard to get? This is a game you're gonna lose. No one rejects me." Lydia knew the type. The guys who peaked in high school and believed they have some power over others after they graduate. Lydia was a senior but she had some flings with guys like him. "I'm really not interested, so please just leave." His demeanor instantly changed, and he was angry now. "Oh what you think you're better than me? Just because I know how to have fun?" He looked Lydia up and down. "I know I would have fun with you." Lydia was appalled. She stood up ready to leave but while she walking away, she felt a hand on her wrist. Jackson pushed her against a wall. "Where you going baby? The party is just getting started." He started to slide his hand up her thigh, and Lydia was trying to push him off but was failing. "I've been looking at you since you walked in, and I've never wanted to tap something so much until now." Lydia was struggling, trying to punch him, and telling him to stop. Everything happened so fast, but suddenly Jackson was on the floor and there was blood dripping from his nose. She looked to the right and saw a stranger that had pulled Jackson off of me and punched him.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN?" Jackson yelled at the stranger. "I'M JUST TRYING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME."
The stranger picked him up from his collar and punched him again.
"Do you really think she was having a good time?" The stranger said and looked at me with a soft, understanding smile. "You're a disgusting human being, and treating women like that isn't fun, it's disrespectful you asshole."
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?" Jackson was still yelling. "ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU WOULDN'T HIT THAT? I MEAN LOOK AT THE DRESS SHE'S WEARING. SHE'S PRACTICALLY ASKING FOR IT."
The stranger froze. His hands balled into fists and he picked Jackson up again and punched him one last time with all the force his body could hold. He picked up Jackson by the collar and started speaking to him.
"Listen to me. You don't get to be a disgusting human being and get away with it. She is not the problem, the fact that people like you exist is the problem. I swear to God if I ever see you again I will do much worse than break your nose. Do you understand?"
Jackson said nothing.
"I said do you understand?"
"Yeah, whatever." Jackson whispered.
"Then get the fuck out of here."
Jackson got up and walked out of the club by himself.
I looked at the stranger again and he looked at me.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Um yeah I think I'm good, just a little shocked I guess. Thank you for that. I don't know what would've happened." Lydia said.
"Don't worry about it. That asshole got what was coming to him."
"Well thank you again." Lydia stuck her hand out to the stranger, "I'm Lydia Martin."
He smiled "I'm Stiles Stilinski."
