Chapter 2 ~ The Musical

Darren's POV

Today is th first day of choir and I'm sadly the only boy here. The good thing about choir is Katherine's here too. Which means she has one extra hour from Monday to Friday to get to know me better. 

"This year, the school well be producing a musical and you will be the stars of it. This musical will be about the love life of two kids in grade 6. the constant hiding and their love for eachother. If anyone wants to audition, the scripts are by the door and grab one on your way out." Mr. Dickson, the music teacher said.

"Chelsea, I love you." I said to my audition partner, Katherine.

"Bryan, I love you too." She said to me

We kissed and I felt sparks. I don't know if she felt it but I know I did.

After we stopped kissing, everyonr started cheering and clapping.

"Congratulations! Skylar and Darren you got the main roles!"

"Thank you so much Mr.Dickson." We both said in unison.

Katherine's POV

When I got home, I went on Faceboom and Darren Started talking to me.

D: Hey Kat
K: Wht do u want?
D: just wanted to say hi
K: is tht srsly all
D: actually, I wanted to tlk bout the play
K: we can tlk bout tht tmr at school
D: no were doing it right now
meet me at the park
K: no
D: fine then ill just say it online
K: fine ill be there in 5
D: okay

I'm not sure what he want but if its about the kiss, I don't want to talk about it.

I got to the park a few minutes later and spotted Darren on the swings. I walked over to him and sat down on the swings beside him.

What did you want to talk about?
The kiss.
I don't want to talk about it.
Come on Kat
No! And don't call me that!
1 minute please.
Fine. make it fast though
That kiss meant everything to me. I felt sparks.
OK?
The point is, I like you, will you be my girlfriend?
How can I trust you?
What do you mean?
How do I know this isn't a dare?
Because it isn't.
How do I know you're not lying to me?

He kisses me on the lips.
Did that mean anything to you?
Maybe.

He kisses me again.
What about that?
Maybe just a little bit.
So what are you going to say now?

The biggest smile spread across his face.
So, Mr.Dickson says that we should practise our lines together everday after school.
OK. I might not be able to though.
Come on babe.
Don't call me that.
But you're my girlfriend.
So?
What can I call you then?
Kat. Katherine. Kathy. Anything but babe.
Fine. Babe.
Call me that one more time and I'll break your arm.
Ok. Kathy.
I hope we can be the same people as the musical, together forever.
Ya.....
