Chapter 6 ~ The Dance

Katherine's POV

I waited at the top of the stairs for Darren to come and get me. After 30 minutes he finally camr and there I was standing at the top of the stairs.

Romeo.

Good Evening Juliet.

Shall we go to the dance. (a/n sorry I don't speak shakespear)

Mom we're leaving!

"OK. Have fun!" she yelled from the kichen.

----------At The Dance----------

Look at that, Mike and Darren are back with the heart breakers.

"Don't worry about it. He wouldn't dare break your heart again. Remember what I did the last time?"
Ya you beat him up so badly he was away for 2 weeks.

"It was really fun though."

"Maybe I was wrong about Darren." Sophie said.
W-what do you mean?

"Look over at Mr.HeartBreaker."

I looked around for Darren and I finally spotted him, dancing with Janimel. And then I saw the worst thing of the night. Darren kissed her, on the LIPS!

I'm gonna go take a breather. I said running out the door. I ran up to the balcony and I stood on the railing to relax.

After about 10 minutes, Darren came up.
Kathy what's wrong?
Nothing.
Katherine Elizabeth Dione tell me the truth. What's Wrong.
I saw you kiss her. I thought we were a thing but I guess not.
It's not what it looks like.
Don't even try to explain.
But I- DARREN ESPANTO, I WISH I NEVET MET YOU!!!! YOU'RE A TWO TIMING JERK!!
Katherine lis- You change your mind like a girl changes clothes.  Yea you, PMS like a bitch I should know. 
And you, over think, always speak critically.

Darren's POV

I stood on the balcony speechless. I was amazed but frightened. I really wanted her back, I don't know what I did but I wouls never do anything to hurt her again. I love her and I also love her amazing voice. Come back to me Kathy.

When I got home, all I could do was think about her.

I quickly changed out of my costume and layed down on my bed. She was the most important thing ever.

Suddenly, my door opened and my mom came in.

"So how was the dance?" She asked.
Mom I don't want to talk about it.

"Darren, what happened?"
Kathy and I broke up!

"It's going to be OK. There are better people."
No it's not mom! She was the perfect one.

"Well what did you do to make her break up with you?"
I don't know mom! That's the problem!

"Well you'll get her back." Mom said walking out the door.
Thanks Mom.

I know I'll get her back and then everything will be alright again. I'll just set her aside for a week and search for my mystery girl.
