Chapter 3 ~ I Got You

Darren's POV

Kathy Kat!

Hey Dare Bear.

Mr.Dickson wants to see us.

Okay, lets go find him then.

She gives me a kiss right on the lips and a lot of people saw. I'm happy that she said yes. Now I can finally call her my girlfriend, instead of my drean girl.

We walked to class and sat down in our desks right beside each other. We waited for Mr.Dickson to cone since we had music first thing on Wednesday and Friday.

We talked for a while until the bell rang and Mr.Dickson finally came in.

"Hey class, for the first two weeks, you will be choosing, practising and performing a song with the pair that you're sitting with." everyone looked to see who they were sitting beside and some people groaned.

"You can start now"

Darren, I was thinking we can sing I Got You by Jason Chen. It's a love song and it represents how I'll always be there for you.

Sure. I've heard the song before I really like it because it represents me and you.

"Kathy and Darren, can I see you two?"

We nervously walked up to the teacher's desk and waited for him to say something.

"Since you two have to be in love for the musical, I would like you to choose a love song so that you can get into your characters."

Sure. Of course we can.

I mean we're practically dating.

No we're not.

I can't believe she just said that. She just broke my heart by saying that.

We walked back to our desks and Kathy said So lets start splitting up the song to sing.

We worked on our music project for the rest of the block since Ms.King wasn't there and Mr.Dickson offered to watch us.

I couldn't focus all day long because her words haunted me.
