QUICK NOTE:
This new book is where I am going to continually add shorts, similar to what was done at the end of "Flashette: Book Two". They aren't necessarily connected to the plot line of the series, but provide for more feels and content about the lives and relationship of Chloe and Barry Allen.

It was the first night of Barry and I living together in our shared home. We had gotten married a few days earlier, and were lucky to have found a house so soon. Lucky for us, we fell in love at a young age, and were completely and utterly in love at first glance.
We had settled in nicely, thanks to Joe and our friends helping us unpack everything. Because of our jobs, we weren't able to settle down and have an actual honeymoon, but we took every day together and treated it as if it were our last.
We had just gotten home from a long day of work, and were wrapped up in each other's arms in the kitchen of our house, reflecting on the week's events. This week we had our first dance as husband and wife infront of our family and friends, moved into our first home, and shared our first time.
We were currently in the kitchen of our shared home, the light of the moon dancing elegantly on Barry's features. We were wrapped up in each other's embrace, rocking back and forth slowly. Being like this was a usual for us.
I nuzzled my head into the crook of Barry's neck as he planted a small kiss on top of my head, resting his head on top of mine. I took in the warmth of our bodies together as we swayed slowly to the sound of each other's heartbeats.
A few minutes later, I began to hear faint mumbling. As I listened closer, Barry was singing softly.
"I found a love for me." A smile lit up my face at the thought of the song he was singing. This was one of our favorite songs as a couple. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. This song perfectly describes us as a couple, and I couldn't help but get emotional. "Darling just dive right in, And follow my lead,". I then wrapped my arms around Barry's neck, and his arms slid down my back and stopped at my waist, sending a chill down my spine. I looked deeply into his eyes as he continued to sing:
"Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me, 'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love, Not knowing what it was, I will not give you up this time, But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own, And in your eyes you're holding mine". A small tear rolled down at the realization that this was my new life. I was married to the love of my life, and we were starting a new life together. I had always been the type of person who no one noticed, or who was only noticed when someone needed something. And I always found myself asking how I deserved to have a guy like Barry in my life. "Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms, Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song, When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath, But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight". I looked up at Barry with a smile and stood on my tippy toes to plant a small, loving kiss on his lips. We rocked back and forth for a few seconds before Barry prepared to sing again. Before he could make out another word, I placed a finger to his lips and shushed him. Then, I continued the song and sang, this time with the Beyoncé version:
"Well, I found a man stronger than anyone I know, He shares my dreams, I hope that someday we'll share a home, I found a love to carry more than just my secrets, To carry love, to carry children of our own, We are still kids, but we're so in love, Fightin' against all odds, I know we'll be alright this time, Darling, just hold my hand, Be your girl, you'll be my man, And I see my future in your eyes." Barry looked down at me with his loving smile, his eyes filled with complete adoration. "Well, baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms, Barefoot on the grass while listening to our favorite song."
"When I saw you in that dress looking so beautiful," Barry sang, pulling us apart. I could tell he was thinking of our wedding we had a few days earlier. He held his hand in the air, allowing me to spin and fall into his embrace. "I don't deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight." We then returned to swaying back and forth, gripping onto each other tighter than we ever did before, as if we were afraid to let each other go. I was completely moved by his performance, and couldn't contain my emotion. That was the type of hold Barry had on me.
"Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms, Barefoot on the grass, while listenin' to our favorite song, I have faith in what I see, Now I know I have met an angel in person, And she looks perfect, and he looks perfect, No, I don't deserve this, You look perfect tonight," we harmonized, pulling each other in for a kiss to complete the song. I brought my hands to the back of Barry's neck and pulled him closer as he cupped my cheeks and deepened the very passionate kiss. I then pulled away, resting my forehead on his. My smile was wider than it'd ever been before, and I was overjoyed. I couldn't wait for those long nights of staying up and looking at the stars on our back porch, or waking up every morning to being tangled in his arms. I didn't know where Barry and I's road would lead us, but I knew our life together was going to be great.
