YOU HAVE TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND ALLOW THE MUSIC TO FLOW THROUGH YOU. REVEL IN IT, ALLOW YOURSELF TO AWE. WHEN YOU PLAY ALLOW THE MUSIC TO BREAK YOUR HEART WITH ITS BEAUTY.

Another cold day. The laughing wind crept up on individuals, following them around the city, hissing at the warmth of their body. Today wasn't a pleasant coldness. It was the kind that made you walk all the faster and brace your head against the wind. No matter how warm the blood in your veins, your face became frozen just the same. In springtime, the water lies softly on the ground, but on that day it was solid to a drop in every form it could take. From soft snow underfoot to the icicles that hung from the railway bridge and the black ice that lay in wait on the freeway, nothing flowed.

Everyone was wrapped. Layers after layers. long sleeved T-shirts, jumpers, coats, jeans boots, gloves, hats etc. Everyone made sure to cover themselves. Hoping to protect themselves from the harsh bite of the cold and severe thrashing of the wind.

"When people see me holding your hand..." Jasmine sang to the girls who were applying to audition for the leading lady of their play. The crowd watched her carefully. Tiana put on a good show, that was for sure.

Travis pushed passed the group, interrupting Tiana and her song. Branch, the author of the play along with other things, was dragged behind Travis and shadowed by Charlotte. Branch appeared to be aggravated with something Travis had stated, while Charlotte shadowed the two like a little puppy.

Branch was the master behind the junior play. Branch had modernised the play slightly, set the choreography and helped Poppy write the music. Branch was a master when it came to the theatre. He had spent many years working on theatre sets and he had managed to pick up a few techniques and tips on the way.

"I'm not saying that Romeo and Juliet's story is a bad idea," Travis stated as the continued to walk, "its a start," Travis added while he overlooked some notes that were passed towards him.

"Not bad for two weeks," Charlotte interrupted rudely which she scolded Branch with his idea. In fact, Charlotte was jealous of the brilliant idea Branch had suggested. Charlotte had not assisted in forming an idea for the juniors.

"Can I finish, please," Travis exclaimed as he turned to the two sharply, "but, pray tell, where is Charlotte in all this," Travis questioned as he looked down at the script he had in his hand, "I'm looking at these scenes here and I do not see any part for Juliet the tap dance," Travis stated as he through one of the pages into the air as he gazed back to Branch.

"She doesn't twirl once," Charlotte added as she watched Branch.

"And splits. Charlotte does great splits," Travis exclaimed, interfering Charlotte, "shoe him your splits, honey," Travis requested as Branch rolled his eyes at the couple.

Sure enough, Charlotte dropped down into the splits elegantly and profoundly.

"What I am looking for here is a vehicle for Charlotte," Travis informed Branch as Charlotte smirked beside her boyfriend. The two stood by each other with evil smirks.

"You want a vehicle?" Branch questioned which sent the couple to edge forward, "put her under a bus," Branch mused seriously as he looked down at Charlotte.

The seniors were all huddled up in the music room. The cast had been selected and all was left was to learn the choreography of which Elsa and  Aurora had constructed.

Elsa stood at the front, attempting to instruct the girls the choreography they had set from the scene. Attempting was the keyword. Elsa was never the best at dancing. She would rather let others take the pleasure of dancing. She always managed to lose her footing and make a scene of herself whenever she attempted. However, Elsa still attempted o show the girls and with little success.

"Okay, come on," Calliope announced as she began to overhear the girls nasty comments on Elsa's dancing, "let help her out,"  Calliope took charge. Taking Elsa's spot,  Calliope showed the dance move, that Elsa had attempted, to the girls.

Sure enough, the girls had got it. It was easy, it was simple. Yet, Elsa found difficulty in the moves.

Jack had entered. Witnessing Elsa's clumsiness and the choreography she had selected for the scene. He did not approve.

Marching towards Calliope, Jack took hold of her. Jack took her to one side so that they could not be overheard, yet he was unsuccessful, "I can not do my duties if Elsa, here, keeps interfering," Jack stated viciously which shocked both Calliope and Elsa, "I bring a ripe talent-"

"We had to start rehearsals on the dance," Elsa asserted, hearing enough of Jack speaking of her in such a way.

"What," Jack blurted as he turned to her, "that's not dancing," Jack tried to form his next words carefully, "that's organised pain," pointing towards the girls who appeared to be enjoying the little argument between the two, "you want to see real dancing?"

"Yeah, I want to see real dancing," Elsa confirmed as she looked Jack up and down.

"Then you've got to go clubs, snowflake," he informed her in a harsh tone. The nickname he had previously given her on her birthday didn't seem to have the same effect as it did. It was rigid, "you've got to go out," Jack added as he turned to the other girls, "you've got to go to places like the silver hammer or the heatwave."

"Who died and made you the dance maven?" Elsa jested which earned everyone to chuckle. Jack scoffed towards her little joke.

"That's an excellent idea," Calliope intervened as she pushed Jack towards Elsa slightly, "when could you two-"

"No. What you talking about," Jack interfered with Calliope's idea.

"You and Elsa," Calliope asserted as if it was obvious, "I mean, if you hate the choreography then you ought to do some research," Calliope affirmed as the two stared at her like she was asking something fare more unachievable.

"I ain't going anywhere with her," Jack scoffed as he gestured towards Elsa. Elsa glared menacingly towards Jack, before turning back to Aurora, "besides you've got a lot of shit to do here and, in case you haven't noticed you've only got a few weeks left, doll."

"Well, let me make myself perfectly clear, doll," Calliope spat as she pushed Jack to one side with her, "for the interest of this show is concerned I will stop at nothing to do the best Sing possible. Nothing," Calliope declared in a stern voice as the others behind were once again being instructed by Elsa. Jack turned to leave, yetCalliope grasped his jacket swiftly, "understand?"
