One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

The door opened. Welcoming all who wished to escape the brisk winter. It was a warm welcome that all the guests needed.
The rich aroma of the dishes wafted in the air and beckoned all who inhaled its devious sent. Tables laden with delicacies line the walls. Everything you can think of, and things you have never dreamed of, lie in wait. Whole roasted cows and pigs and goats still turning on spits. Huge platters of fowl stuffed with savoury fruit and nuts. Ocean creatures drizzled in sauces or begging to be dipped in spicy concoctions. Countless cheeses, loaves of bread, vegetables, sweets, waterfalls of wine, and streams of spirits that flicker with flames.
Everything was in place. Nothing was out of order. Music was played, the chatter was in the air along with laughter, smiles were placed on every guest's face. All was happy.
Elsa walked into the home with a smile. A warm smile lay on her face as she took her jacket off. Elsa enjoyed the crowd of happy people, she enjoyed the happiness of other people. Elsa was a girl who would rather make another person happy than herself.
Still holding her smile, Elsa turned to glance in the mirror. Checking her attire, Elsa commenced to flatten out her blue gown. Elsa wanted to look good for her boyfriend, Peter. A swift check of her curled hair, Elsa turned and smiled towards a woman she had never seen before.
Calliope Muse had hair flowed down her back like the black ink of a tilted piece of parchment. Her eyes were fox-like and had an icy greyish green hue like the first sprouts of plants in the snow. Her white creamy tone of skin reminding individuals of whipped milk. A slender body which contained a tiny waist, that caught many men's attention. Pale, thin lips that often enough spoke the truth. Calliope was an attractive woman, that was for sure.
Elsa began her search. Looking around the room to any sign of Peter. No luck yet. Tuning, Elsa bumped into Anastacia who smiled at her happily.
"You've seen Peter?" Elsa asked as she noticed the navy blue gown Anastacia was wearing. No doubt to impress Dimitri, her boyfriend.
"Yeah, check the dining room," Anastacia replied as she continued to walk away from Elsa.
Looking in the dining room, Elsa caught a glimpse of red hair. That was Peter for sure. Peter was the only individual to have ginger hair, to Elsa's acknowledgement. A smile appeared on her face as she thought about her boyfriend.
Peter was fair skinned and slender. Hair a bright orange that could make a tiger jealous, that swept across his forehead. Brown eyes that shone brightly, reflecting the warmth of the sun. They were such a unique colour, a mix of light and dark. His face was strong and defined, with a bone structure which was fine and perfectly symmetrical. Thin, rough lips that had a playful smile, which Elsa had often kissed.
Making her way towards the dining room, Elsa also bumped into another friend of hers. Tiana. Elsa smiled towards her friend, brightly. The two were close. Very close.
They both reached out and hugged each other tightly. Their arms as shields of love, a hug so warm yet so different than a motherly embrace. When they finally parted, both felt is absence as a cold wind, wishing they could keep one another wrapped around each other like a well-worn sweater for always.
"How do I look?" Elsa quickly questioned as she examined her gown yet again. Elsa was being cautious. She wanted to look her best for Peter.
"You look good, yeah," Tiana reassured her as Elsa smiled, "but," Elsa had walked away from her at that point. Tiana had no time to warn Elsa, "I don't think you want to go in there," Tiana said to herself as she sighed.
