Jimminy made his way through the crowd, greeting everyone he saw. Everyone replied to his greeting with smiling faces. Everyone seemed happy to be, all except Ratcliffe.

Jimminy made his way towards the stage. Everyone cheered and clapped as he stood on the stage. Smiling proudly to the crowd, Jimminy stood in front of the microphone, getting ready to speak to the crowd.

"Good evening everyone," Jimminy stated as everyone sat back in their seats, listening to Jimminy's words, "welcome to the forty-fifth...and final Brooklyn Central high school Sing," Jimminy tried not to choke on his words in front of everyone, he wouldn't let his emotions show, "looks like we made it after all," he beamed as everyone cheered enthusiastically, while standing up. With a smile only to be described as the Cheshire grin, Jiminy made his way off stage.

"And now, the underclass proudly presents Romeo and Juliet, Brooklyn style," Cheered a student behind the scenes.

Pocahontas was stood on stage while the stage curtains drifted apart from each other. Pocahontas was dressed in a short, blue medieval dress with leopard print legging underneath, giving it a modern feel.

Behind, was a painted setting of a castle. The castle lay like an old man of the hill, the artificial lighting gave off a moonlight impression that shone on the craggy, tumble down stonework. Fake moss clung in the shade of the painted ancient walls like a straggly beard. The once proud turrets had crumbled in places giving the impression of a dishevelled party hat. Painted behind the setting of the castle was a perfect dusk background. Purples melt into grey under the lighting. Stars shone as sugar spilt over black marble.

Behind a perfect, lavender sky, giving the scene a dusk appearance. A spotlight was placed on  Pocahontas, which allowed the audience to see her every move.

Brickwork ley behind  Pocahontas has she danced to the upbeat music.

"Oh....yeah..." Pocahontas sang as she blew a kiss to the audience.

"When people see me holding your hand..." Pocahontas grasped John Rolfe's hands in her own, "they act as if we broke some rule...they point and say it's not too cool but then...I do it again..."

Pocahontas stood in front of John, who appeared in a stereotypical medieval tunic and brown pants. Placing his hand on her hips, the two swayed side to side in gradual movements to the beat.

Spinning away from Romeo, John, "I thought my friends just might understand..." a girl dressed in an ancient gown, glanced towards Juliet, Pocahontas, and shook her head disapprovingly, "but they refuse to think it's real," a gentleman passed shaking his head, before following the previous female off stage, "they can't believe two hearts could feel so strong...oh, tell me what's wrong?..."

Out of the darkness, Juilet descended down the stairs that various people had made with their hand, dressed as alleycats, helping her by holding their hands out for her to take, to steady herself.

"What's the matter with love?" The crowd went into a frenzy as they saw the entire stage, "What's the matter with feeling...the way that we're feeling?" the entire cast were dancing around their Juliet, "what's the matter with love? What's the matter with dancing up on the ceiling? " on the word 'up' the entire cast jumped up at her words, "In a world where there's never enough what's the matter with, oooh, what's the matter with love?"
