Chapter three

"Samantha baby wake up" I slowly opened my eyes and seen Mommy standing beside the crib.

Mommy picked me up and kissed the top of my head.

She grabbed my already full bottle and held it up to my lips.

Once I was done she brought me into the dining room where everyone was.

Daddy walked in and sat beside mommy and smiled at me.

"Are you hungover, mom said you'd be" Carl asked daddy smiling.

"Moms right" Daddy groans.

Mommy nodded her head whilst smiling.

- (time skip cause I'm lazy) -

"Is that a brain" Carl asked Jenner.

Jenner nodded his head.

- (time skip) -

"That son of a b*tch locked us in here" Shane cusses not caring about the children at the moment.

I looked up at mommy and whimpered.

"Shane" mommy scolded.

"Carl can you hold your sister please" My brother nodded his head.

Carl grabbed me from mommy and held me close.

Mommy walked over to daddy and started talking to him.

"What do you think her first words are gonna be" Sophia asked Carl.

"I don't know" Carl shrugged.

"Are you gonna teach her how to walk" Sophia asked him.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be the best big brother ever" Carl told her.

Carol smiled down at him.

"She's lucky she has you"Carol said to Carl.

The door opened and everyone ran out.

Mommy ran into Daryl's room and packed up my stuff before grabbing her stuff.

Daryl ran in and grabbed his stuff too.

We joined everyone at the windows once mommy got her stuff.

"C'mon everyone get in the cars" mommy ran into the RV with me in her arms.

"Get down" daddy yelled.

"Mom what do you think Sammy's first words are gonna be" Carl asked mommy.

"Is that your nickname for her" mommy asked.

Carl nodded and kissed me on the head.

"I'm gonna be the best big brother" Carl mumbled smiling down at me.

"I'm gonna protect you Sammy, I promise I won't let anyone hurt you" Carl told me.

"My sister my responsibility" Carl told mommy.

"Carl, Sophia get down" Daddy whispered as he ran by.

Sophia got underneath a car, Carl held me tight in his arms as he crawled under a car beside Sophia.

I whimpered not liking this situation at all.

Carl looked down at me scared, he put one of his fingers in my mouth calming me down.

A couple minutes later Sophia looked out to see if there were any walkers left.

Sophia jumped back when she saw two walkers.

The walkers bent down and spotted her underneath the car.

Mommy ran over to us, she grabbed me out of Carl's arms and held me close.

Daddy went after Sophia so he wasn't here.

"Carl, baby stay close" mommy said as she handed me back to my big brother.

- (3rd POV) -

Lori felt extremely happy, not cause her husband and Sophia are missing.

Her son loves his little sister so much and that can make any parent happy.

Sure she's not around them as much anymore and she might seem like a bad mom.

But the truth is she's scared, she doesn't want to mess up so bad that her children end up hating her.

The last thing a parent wants is for their child to hate them.

Lori could easily ask for help but she wants to figure this out herself.

It's hard being a parent as it is but being a parent in the apocalypse is ten times worse.

Lori is constantly worrying about her children's safety, she wouldn't know what to do if one of them died.

I'm so so so sorry for the really long wait and the short chapter but I had major writers block.

If I did the story in mainly 3rd POV would you people still read the book.

I was also thinking of not bringing Judith into the story.

Also yes I did put some 100 references in there
