Niall's POV
I've always been insecure about my teeth since I've been on the Xfactor and today is the day I finally get my braces on. So nervous but I want to change not just for me but for the fans and also the boys.
I head off to the dentist and I'm really nervous like I don't know what its gonna feel like but I hope it will make the fans happy.
I enter the dentist office and go to the front desk.
"Hi, may I help you, sir." the women at the front desk says.
"Yes, I'm here to see Gary Altenburg to get my braces on," Niall says
"Ok it will just be a minute, you can wait in the waiting room," the women says.
"Thank you, ma'am," Niall says.
I take a seat and go on twitter to see whats going on, just more hate nothing new, I sigh and put my phone away.
"Niel Horan." the dentist says.
I sigh, why can't people get my name right.
"I'm here," I say as I stand up and walk with the dentist.
"here you go, Gary should be with you any minute he's with another patient." the worker says.
"Ok thank you," I say
I sigh waiting patiently for the dental worker to fix my teeth.
"Hello, Niall. Wonderful to see you again. ready to get braces today." Gary says.
"Sure," I say.
Gary checks my teeth and says I have no cavities and my teeth are healthy.
"Ok, Niall were gonna get started and put on your braces, just make sure you take good care of them and floss and will give you a list of things you can eat and stuff you can't eat with them," Gary says.
"Ok, thank you, Gary," I say.
Gary puts on my braces and said I'm all good to go and just go to the front to schedule your next appointment.
I look at myself in the mirror and smile and I don't like them I look so bad with them. Hopefully the fans like them.
I schedule my next appointment and head back to the apartment complex me and the boys share.
I get home and see the boys are watching some show.
"Hey Niall, we didn't see you all today, are you ok?" Liam says.
I nod my head trying to hide the fact that I got braces and I don't like them.
"Ok, well we're just watching some tv if you want to join us," Liam says.
I nod my head and sit between Louis and Liam and just relax from the long day.
"So Niall where were you today, we were gonna go to your room and see if you wanted to hang out today and you weren't in there," Louis says.
I stay quiet not wanting to say anything.
"You ok Niall? you seem quiet." Harry asks.
I nod and head back to my room and just go on my guitar and just play it.
I hear a knock and see that its Zayn.
"Hey Ni, you okay? you seemed not like yourself down there." Zayn says.
I nod and just don't say anything.
"You sure, you seemed very quiet, what's going on?" Zayn says.
I keep quiet. I'm scared to say anything cause I don't know how the boys are gonna think about my braces.
"Ni, you sure your ok? was it the fans again? we told you to stay off twitter." Zayn says.
I shake my head no.
"Then what is it?" Zayn says.
I shrug and I really want to say its nothing but I'm just afraid.
"I know what will get you talking, Boys come up here, were in Niall's room," Zayn says.
The boys come into my room and enter one by one.
"Whats up Zayn?" Liam says.
"Niall seems sad and I want to cheer him up, can you guys help me?" Zayn says.
"Of course, anything to cheer up our leprechaun," Louis says.
I smile a little and just stay quiet.
Louis grabs a blindfold just like how it was during our video diaries and closes the door.
"Watch this Ni," Louis says putting on the blindfold.
Louis puts on the blindfold and tries to walk over to the door and comes back and Zayn tells him to run straight forward and he falls on my bed. I laugh so hard and realize that the boys can see my braces, I cover my mouth and realize the boys stopped laughing and saw why I wasn't talking.
"Niall, did you get braces?" Harry says.
"Yes," I say.
"Why?" Zayn says.
"Because I felt insecure and the fans already give me hate so I decided I need a change," I say about to cry.
"Aw Ni, you don't need to change for anyone especially us," Liam says.
"Really?" I say.
"Yes, really we all love you Niall," Harry says.
We all get in a group hug and laugh about stuff and go downstairs and go watch a movie.
