Over the weekend, the nine friends had packed up their summer things for their summer vacation on Sunday. Kyosuke packed the least stuff, whereas Risa packed the most stuff, even more so than the other four girls who were coming. Both of them, however woke up on the same time, five-thirty Sunday morning. Once they were ready to leave, they each wrote a note to their folks that they have left. Then Kyosuke, Hinako and Risa left their houses carrying their bags with them and met up with each other outside.

"Morning," said Risa with a smile.

"Morning," replied Kyosuke, smiling back. "You ready to go?"

"You bet," said Risa cheerfully. "Let's go meet up with the others at the bus stop."

"Yay!" cheered Hinako. "Let's go, Onii-san!"

"Okay," replied Kyosuke. Then the three of them started walking toward the direction of the nearest bus stop.

All their friends were there once they made it. Takeru was with Ichiro and Kotaro, and Mio was with Yukie and Mori.

 "Morning, guys," Kyosuke greeted them.

"Good morning," replied Ichiro.

"Wife!" said Mori cheerfully, ramming into Hinako and giving her a hug.

"Tee-hee..." giggled Hinako sheepishly. "Good morning, Mori-chan..."

"This is gonna be a blast..." muttered Kyosuke sarcastically, awkwardly smiling at the two girls.

Then the circle of friends, increased by three, stood at the bus stop until the bus arrived. One by one they boarded the vehicle, excited, for on this occasion the friends were going to the beach.

Kyosuke and Risa sat side by side. Ichiro sat beside Takeru, who had a huge pair of headphones on his head as he listened to music on his MP3 player. Mio and Yukie, as usual, sat together as well. Unfortunately for Kotaro, he sat with Hinako and Mori, much to his dismay.

The bus ride took almost forty minutes. Takeru fell asleep, the music on his MP3 still playing. Risa leant on Kyosuke's shoulder, not asleep, but quite drowsy. Kyosuke was careful not to disturb her while she rests.

Yukie was too busy looking out the window to be resting her eyes, but Mio had fallen asleep beside her, leaning on her shoulder. Behind them, Hinako and Mori were both fast asleep, holding hands. This greatly increased Kotaro's anxiety, since the idea of female homosexuality disturbed him.

Forty-minutes later, the nine reached their stop. When they unboarded the bus they saw a beautiful, quiet beach resort with very few tourists, perfect for a vacation.

"Wow," said an amazed Risa. "It's beautiful."

"Very few people in here too," put in Kyosuke. "Just what we need."

"Yay! We made it, Mori-chan!" said Hinako cheerfully.

"Tee-hee," giggled Mori as the two ran towards the entrance, followed by the seven others.

When they went inside the lobby, Kyosuke was the one who checked in with the receptionist, who gave the friends nine keys, for each of them had a separate room to sleep in. The nine of them then went to their rooms upstairs in the compound.

The rooms looked nice and cosy. They weren't the Japanese-style bedrooms they expected, for the rooms had beds, not futons. They were Western-style rooms. Nevertheless, the nine found the rooms comfortable.

Risa was in Kyosuke's room, helping him get settled in.

"Thanks a lot, Risa," said Kyosuke, wiping the sweat off his brow.
