I looked through my spell book as Patience stared at me. "Do you need something?"
"So if you're a Winchester how come I've never heard of you and you don't look anything like Sam and Dean?" She asked.
"We have the same dad but my mom was mixed Asian and Pacific Islander." I closed my book and grabbed a crystal from my bag.
"Was?"
"She died of cancer when I was 14, that's when I found out about my brothers and that I was a witch. It was the best and worst summer of my life." I took out a map of the world and laid it out on the table.
"My mom died when I was very young, my dad took me as far as he could get. I didn't know I had powers until the monster that killed my grandma went after me." She stood up.
"Such fun." I took the crystal and tied string around it.
"So who is the big guy on the couch? I know you said he was your boyfriend but he's a bit scary looking. You sure he isn't a demon or something?" She joked.
"I checked, he's not." I smiled.
"How?" Patience questioned.
"Holy water and salt always works." I started swinging the crystal over the map.
"What are you doing?"
"Scrying. Maybe I can find out where they are."
"How does it work?"
I looked over at her. "You ask way too many questions for someone who knows the future."
"Erika, Patience, we need you in the garage!" Jody yelled.
Sweet Pea's eyes opened.
"Oh look, Sleeping Beauty has awoken." I stood up and got my spell book.
"Did you do that sleep thing again?" Sweet Pea scowled. "I didn't miss that."
"Yep, come on. You're about to see what we deal with, what I was trying to keep you away from." I walked into the kitchen and out into the garage.
A disgusting looking creature was laying on a table.
"Holy shit." Sweet Pea was taken back.
"You understand now?"
