I emerged from the darkness into the police station. My newly blonde hair was pinned up, my makeup was done, and the heals I wore were already hurting my feet. I walked up to the front desk.

"Who are you?" The sheriff walked up to me.

I pulled out a card and looked at the blonde and blue-eyed woman in the picture. "Paige Matt, I'm here to talk to you about the wrongful arrest of Antoinette Topaz, Fangs Fogarty, and Sweet Pea along with the rest of the Serpent teens that you arrested with no court order and with no evidence."

"Ms. Matt we arrested them during a school raid to look for drugs." Mr. Keller spoke.

"And did you find anything on any of my clients?"

"No Ma'am."

"Then you are keeping them here, illegally, without any evidence other than the fact that you found drugs on the premises. If it was at Riverdale High would you have arrested a whole group, like the football team, without proof and evidence?"

"How do you know so much about this?"

"I'm close friends with someone in Internal Affairs, she's told me all about how unfairly you treat the Southsider in this town and unless you want IA down here and a civil suit filed against the whole police department in Riverdale you will release all students of Southside High that wrongfully arrested today."

"There will be no need for that ma'am, we were planning to release them in about 10 minutes. I'll go get them." Mr. Keller walked into the back.

About a minute later Toni, Fangs, Sweet Pea, and the rest of the Serpent kids walked out.

"Come with me Antoinette, your grandfather wants you home." I walked out the door.

Toni followed me with the boys not too far behind.

I walked down the street and turned the corner onto a darker street.

"Ok, who are you? And why did you save us?" Sweet Pea asked.
