Chapter XI: When you investigate

Third Person's Pov

Jeon Jungkook was staring at his girlfriend on the hospital bed, as he wished for Lisa to wake up soon. The poor girl has suffered a lot since the doctors did their best to get the water out of her lungs. He was in deep thought about how useless he was to let Jangmi push her from the bridge. He was her boyfriend; he was supposed to protect her.

His hyungs and noonas arrived shortly after he called them each one by one except for a certain hyung who was still in a state of shock after what his wife had done.[aka Jimin] They all prayed for Lisa to open her eyes soon as they all got hurt by watching her in a lifeless state. Jungkook told them everything and apologized for not being able to protect her but he was comforted by his hyungs and noonas, saying that it wasn't his fault. But all Jennie was seeing at that moment was red, beyond furious because of the reason why their maknae was confined in the first place.

"I'm gonna kill that BITCH, you all can't stop me!!" She yelled and was about to leave the room when her boyfriend pulled her for a hug, attempting to calm her down. Jennie calmed down for a moment but continued cursing Jangmi in her mind.

Jungkook's Pov

A few hours later......

[Still at the private hospital room]

I brushed a few strand off my girlfriend's hair and smiled. She's still a beautiful girl even when she's unconscious. Slowly, I could see her eyes opening.

"Hyungs! Noonas! Lisa is waking up!" I told them and they immediately rushed by my side and cheered loudly.

"Where am I? Unni? Oppa?" She asked cluelessly while naturally being cute.

"You are in a hospital Lisa-yah." Jisoo answered calmly while scooting away from Jin Hyung. I know they separated and Jin Hyung is trying to win her back. I scoffed at the sight, I guess we have to do something again then.

"Do you remember anything, Lisa?" Rose asked while checking Lisa's body for unnoticed injuries. Lisa nodded and told us that Jangmi apologized but pushed Lisa off the Bridge.

2 days later, Lisa recovered but her body was still a bit weak. I had been visiting her often and made sure to be by her side all the time and I noticed that Jangmi disappeared from sight. That was quite suspicious but I will look unto it on further notice.

"Are you sure you're really okay?" I asked Lisa and she nodded her head.

"I'm okay now, Jungkook. Besides, Jangmi is not around anymore. Rumors say that she dropped out." She responded while I stood unconvinced. I cannot guarantee Lisa's safety 100% since Jangmi is still out there and who knows what she can do.
