Chapter XX

Third Person's Pov

After the unfortunate incident, Jennie passed her position to her brother as the leader of the Winged Devils momentarily which makes Jiyong busy as ever. He had no choice even if he wanted to run away from his sister. He recently discovered the Devil inside his sister and wants to keep it inside her for a while longer.

Now, Jennie was hanging out with Rose in a café that only caters to rich people. The prices of the products are nearly thrice the amount sold on local cafés but are twice the quantity and thrice the flavor. Of course, it's all on Rose. The price won't bother her anyway. There are also 4 bodyguards sitting on their back, in which 2 are from Jennie's gang to completely ensure her best friend's safety.

"I wonder, did Jin and Jisoo get back together already?" Rose inquired while rubbing her pregnancy bump lightly, feeling the twins move inside her.

"I'm not sure, but they need to 'Kiss and Makeup' soon enough. The reason for their fight is pretty shallow, even a fetus can swim on it." Jennie stated which made Rose smirk.

"Well, they better watch out because we're setting them up one last time."

Since it was a Saturday, Rose decided to invite the squad over. It was definitely not going to be a party but a simple hangout. Jennie arrived earlier with Taehyung followed by Lisa and Jungkook. Jisoo arrived and Jin came lastly.

"Rose Unnie!!!! I haven't seen you in a long time!" Lisa rejoiced and hugged Rose, being careful not to squish the babies. Jimin, Jin and Jisoo are in the kitchen, preparing food for everyone.

"Missed you too, Lalisa. How's college going?" Rose asked.

"Awful! I want to drop out!" Lisa whined and Jungkook hit her head with a rolled up newspaper.

"Just a year more, Lisa-yah." Jungkook reminded her and she pouted, with arms crossed.

The others returned with food and drinks in their hands, alerting everyone with the sight and smell. The rest of the squad hurried over, and in less than 10 minutes, the food and drinks have vanished into thin air. Jimin, Jin and Jisoo were all flabbergasted.

"YAH!! You food-hungry people! You didn't even leave Rose a bit of food!" Jisoo fumed when she saw Rose patting her stomach and the others responded with a peace sign.

"Jisoo Unnie, I want Gwangju Apples...." Rose requested. It was 5:24 in the afternoon and even though Gwangju was a bit far from Seoul, Jisoo will comply with what Rose requests.

"Arasso, Jennie-yah, come with me." Jisoo ordered and Jennie only yawned at her. She raised an eyebrow.

"Mianhe, Jiyong oppa confiscated my car because I left him in charge of the Winged Devils." Jennie stated which was true. Jisoo was about to ask Jungkook but she remembered that the maknae didn't have a car too. She was reluctant to use Jimin's car because it is ridiculously expensive. 'Ugh, if only I brought my car here.....' Jisoo thought.

"What if Jin oppa comes with Jisoo unnie? After all, 2 heads are better than one. I think Rose unnie wants 2 boxes of apples." Lisa suggested in an innocent tone with a little mischief underneath.

Jisoo glared at Lisa and she pretended not to notice as she played her innocent card. She looked around helplessly only to realize that they won't help her. 'So be it, then!' Jisoo thought and asked Jin to drive her to Gwangju.

After they left, the others smirked knowing their plan has taken its first step. Jennie set up the TV which surprised the others.

"We're watching them for real?" Lisa excitedly asked.

"Yes, you all started the watching scheme. We will never finish it, ever." Jennie said. (A/N: It all started in Book 1 where they all spied on Taehyung's confession.)

"Geez, what else did you set up?" Jimin was a little nervous for the Jinsoo couple but was reassured by his wife that Jennie was not a dangerous one, just crafty.

"I guess you just have to watch if you want to know." Jennie answered and threw herself at the couch and they all hurdled around the wide flat screen TV.

Jisoo's Pov

I'm still in doubts whether the squad has planned this or not, but hell do I care. As long as Rose is happy, I will be happy. The atmosphere is a bit awkward, uhm scratch that. It is VERY awkward. Neither one of us is talking so I switched the radio and soft music played breaking some tension in the atmosphere.

Approximately 37 minutes later, the car stopped with a bang resounding in our ears. Jin looked frustrated but said nothing. He went out of the car and I followed suit.

"What happened?" I asked crossing my arms.

"We run out of gas and we're in the middle of somewhere. I'm sorry." He quickly apologized.

"It's not your fault. Try to call the others." I told him and he did so. After a few rings he sighed. I cannot contribute either, since my phone's battery also died.

"My phone's battery died. What should we do now?" He asked while looking at the surroundings. Suddenly, it rained. We had no choice but to run back into the car or else we are going to be soaked.

Can't this day get any worse? I just need 2 boxes of apples for Goddamn's sake! When the rain stopped, it was already night time. We decided to ditch the car and look for a nearby gas station. We are tired, frustrated and hungry.

"Aigoo, what are you two doing here?" An ahjumma asked us. We bowed to her.

"Ah, our car ran out of gas so we are trying to look for a nearby gas station." Jin explained.

"How about you two stay at our house for the night? You might meet trouble along the way. This town is not very safe during the night." The ahjumma offered.

"Ah no need Ahjumma! We might become a burden for your family!" I politely refused.

"Silly girl, are you looking down on us that much? We can afford to have you in our house. My conscience will be pricked if I heard bad news about you." Ahjumma replied.

"Ani! I'm just worried. You're right ahjumma, we might meet trouble along the way. Thank you for your hospitality." I thanked her.

"Aigoo, just call me Mrs. Kim." She laughed andbrought us to her house.
