Chapter XIII: Multiple Choice

Third Person's Pov

Fear. That was the main emotion Jungkook felt after the careless action he had unintentionally done. His heart was beating fast, along with his eyes wide open in terror. How could he escape this mess now? He knew that his noona cannot help him in this situation, not when EXO was this close in catching him. He won't let that happen, not in a million years.

"Oh fuck, I'm DEAD MEAT! Ottoke?" He mumbled looking around while pacing away. He stopped and looked at the sea before him. The others were just meters away from him but they can't see him much to his advantage.

He acted without thinking and dove into the cold waters of the sea. Jungkook was very lucky that it was nighttime and that he could not be seen and tracked, as the yacht the EXO members boarded didn't have a radar to detect any foreign organisms around them.

He thanked Yeri in his mind that he was dressed in a diving suit with an oxygen tank on his back. He was complaining a lot when he was dressed in these heavy things and how he managed to stay quiet when he listened earlier was a miracle. Shaking the thoughts off his head, he swam with the help of his night vision goggles and arrived at the docks drenched in seawater. At least he was safe....

Back at the yacht, Kai and Sehun were quite confused as to why the intruder managed to escape efficiently without any trace despite the flaw. Turning around, they were met with a deadly gaze from the 2nd leader, KRIS and behind him was Kyungsoo choking Jangmi with his hands.

"Did you let the intruder get away?" He asked in a cold voice that sent shivers down their spine. They looked at each other before nodding and they were given punishment, along with Jangmi.

Jennie's Pov

"Rose, get down! You might fall and hurt your baby!" I warned Rose who was currently sitting and swinging on the chandelier. It was no doubt that Jimin had left a big hole in her heart after catching him on the act with another woman.

"I don't know what to do anymore, unnie. I give up." Rose stated, with tears falling from her eyes.

I know it is hard for her, loving a man so long only to realize that she's not the only one. I looked at her staring unto nowhere with tears continuously dripping down her cheeks. I grabbed a chair and stood on it, reaching her height and held her wrist gently and led her down the chandelier swing to the ground. As soon as her feet reached the ground, she fell down and cried and sobbed loudly. I embraced her in my arms, letting her wet my clothes with her tears for all I care.

"Rose, I know it will be hard but be strong. Fight for your child. We will be always here for you even if your husband will leave your side. You have me, and the others out there. We will always support you, because we love you." I said and she hugged me tighter until she eventually cried herself to sleep.
