Getting to know David

"Avery" a whispered said.

"Averryy" the voice got louder and I rolled over and hugged my pillow.

"AVERY STACY STARS!"

The voice is now really loud. Shut the hell up! The pillow was now ripped away from my grasp and getting hit on my head cautiously. I opened my eyes and saw the monster before me.

"Shut the hell up Sarah"

I said sitting up on my bed I took a glance at my mirror and my hair was still in its perfect curls from last night sticking up everywhere. I ran my fingers through my hair and tied it with a messy bun on top of my head. "what time is it?"

"7:15" Sarah said. 7:15! school doesn't start until 8:30!

"Why did you wake me up so early?" I groaned.

"'Cause were going somewhere for breakfast" Sarah said grabbing her keys from my desk.

Another word for breakfast is FOOD!

Yes I love her.

We got in our car and we went to a diner which we used to go here everyday. we walked inside and saw Claire coming toward us to get our order.

"The usual?" Claire said.

"Yes please" Sarah and I said together.

"Alright then" she said walking away.

I put my phone down on the table and ate my food.

Yummy!

We got up and Sarah left the diner to go get the car and I went to go pay at the cash register but clumsy of me I dropped my phone and I was about to pick it up when someone beat me to it. I was about to grab my phone from the persons hand they retreated it from my hand that made me look up and saw icy blue eyes. Mark.

"hey love remember me?" Marks said. "I see you do"

I swallowed a lump that was in my throat and kept silent. what is he doing here? "Don't worry love I'm not going to hurt you" he said with a sly smirk tugging at his lips.

"What do you want?" I said bravely but shaking in my boots. This guy can be scary.

"Ohh acting brave are we now? I like it" he said sending a wink toward my direction. If I weren't so disgusted and scared I might have blushed "I don't want anything love, but I was wondering why a beauty like yourself would hang out with David the asshole?" now I really wanted to punch this guy. David the asshole? I don't think so.

He held out my phone and went to grab it but as I do he grabs my wrist and brings me closer to him "ill see you around Avery" and with that he let go of my wrist and gave me my phone and left the diner.

How did he know my name?

Stalker much?

I snapped out of my thoughts and went with Sarah and drove off with Sarah to school.

David came up to me and told me we have to talk so now I'm here following him to talk somewhere private. We sat in the middle of the bleachers outside.

"I want to say I'm sorry about last night" David apologizing?

"David are you apologizing because I saw what happened yesterday or because we didn't finish what we started?"

"Avery, I have a past. A past I don't talk about."

"David I don't want every single detail of your past. Hell, don't let your past define who you are"

"Acting wise now sweetheart?" David said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and a small smile tugging at my lips.

The bell rang and he left and now here I am going to class but what I had on my mind every time is.

Who is really David Miles?
