Chapter 12: Finished the To Be Continued

PREVIOUSLY ON IN LOVE WITH THE PLAYER

David's P.O.V.

"What about Amy?" Luis said changing the subject.

"What about her?" Matt said dryly.

"You like her, dont you?" Luis said smiling.

BEGINNING.....

"Hell no! She's too annoying, too stubborn, and too bitchy." Matt exclaimed but I could see a faint blush appear on his neck. He's not fooling anyone.

"You forgot too pretty." I said "Just admit it Matt you're attracted to her."

"No way! I am NOT attracted to that nerd."He said sternly but wouldnt make aye contact. Luis and I met each other's eyes in the mirror and just nodded in agreement. He likes her.

Matt dropped me off at my house and drove off saying he would pick me up in an hour. I went inside the house to see my mom walking out the same time with a small carry on.

"Leaving on a trip again, I see." I said coldly.

She looked up and sighed slightly. "David, you know I have to go on these trips to promote the company."

"Yeah, you and dad always have to go on these trip rights? There so important." I said dryly.

"David, we'll talk about this and your attitude when I get back, okay?" I didnt answer I just let her walk out the house with her carry on. This is just typical of her and my dad, they're never here for anything or anyone. I shook my head to clear those thoughts and went up to my room to pack. I just threw a few things in a bag and BAM I was done, simple shit. I bet the girls would have a shitload of stuff to carry, but they dont seem like the type of girl who would need fifteen bags for just a weekend, but hey you never know. I heard a horn sounding from outside, I knew it was Matt so I grabbed my bag and made my way outside. Luis was already in there when I got in. I threw my bag straight to him and it him square in the chest. His eyes widen with shock as he rubbed his chest.

"What the hell man?" He said glaring at me.

"Payback is a bitch." I said smirking in his direction. His eyes flashed with realization and he just nodded.

Matt chuckled at us. "Im friends with losers." He said while driving to Avery's house. Luis and I smacked Matt over his head at the same time. "hey! That shit hurt!" instead of responding we just chuckled at him.

It took us less than ten minutes to reach Avery's house. Matt honked his horn to signal the girls to come out. Once they were in the truck we mad our way to the lake house. We reached there an hour later and the girls were awestruck or maybe just Avery because her jaw was almost touching the ground. Well at least she liked it. Inside the house we all went our ways to unpack our stuff. Matt and Luis were sharing a room so was Avery and Amy so that left me alone. The lonely life, what a struggle.

After unpacking Luis, Matt, and I decided to go to the backyard and bonfire since it was our first night here. See we have a tradition, whenever we

come up here we always make a bonfire the first night. We've been doing this

since our first time up here at the lake house and the tradition was kept up until

now. Once we were finished we broke out the alcohol. What's a bonfire without

something to drink? Matt poured some vodka into Luis cup and the mine. I

took a sip and coughed a little because I was not expecting it to be that strong.

Matt got the good shit and not the cheap kind. I glanced over to my side and

saw that Avery and Amy were making their way to us. I walked over to them. I

handed each of them a cup filled with vodka.

"What is it?" Avery asked.

"Try it sweetheart." I said with a smirk. She looked at me suspiciously but took

a sip of the liquid anyways. One sip and she started to cough.

"Vodka?" She asked in between coughs. I was shocked she knew what vodka

tasted like but I covered it up.

"The good girl knows what vodka taste like?" I question in fake surprise which

in all honestly I was surprise. She just rolled her eyes at me.

"Yes, I know what vodka taste like. No need to be shocked." She said scowling

at me. I just smiled at her and grabbed her hand and leading her to the bonfire.

We sat down in comfortable silence until Amy broke it.

Hopefully I have time to update I am now trying to update i will update two whole chapter on both of my stories so get comfy!!!!!!!
