Plans with the boys

This week has passed really quickly and before I knew it its Friday.

Right now Luis and I are walking out of the lunch and out to the courtyard to meet the others. Shocking isn't it? Me, Avery Stacy Stars, is hanging out with the boys. Hell, I don't even believe it. Don't think I ditched my best friend I'm not that mean. She is also hanging out with them.

Well you might be wondering why were hanging out with the boys but its a long story. I would tell you but I'm too lazy. Just kidding.

Lets just say we were dragged from our places in the cafeteria and here we are now in the courtyard.

Well now someone is screaming help behind me. I turn around and see Sarah running toward us.

"What's wrong?" I say.

"Matt wants to kill me" she said hiding behind me.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Why do you think I did something?" she said innocently.

I gave her a 'your kidding me right' look and she just grinned.

"What did you do Sarah?" I ask her yet again.

"Wait and see my friend wait and see" as in cue, Matt came toward us full speed and Sarah hid behind me. He was boiling with anger. Oh shit, what did Sarah do?

"What's wrong Matt? Cat got your tongue?" Sarah teased behind me. Matt stayed silent.

"Tell us already Sarah what did you do?" I said slightly irritated.

"Why doesn't Matt show you? Smile for us Matt" she said with a smirk.

Matt shook his head.

Well me being curious I pinched his side and that made him yelp and when Luis and I got the sight of it we burst out laughing.

"Y-you died his t-teeth b-blue" Luis said trying to control his laughter.

Sarah just chuckled and nodded.

"How did you do that?" I asked when the laughter died down.

Sarah just shrugged her shoulders and smirked.

"A great prankster never reveals their secrets" she said. "but since its you my best friend I should reveal one secret" I rolled my eyes.

"I put food coloring in his sandwich and when he took a bite the food coloring stained his teeth" she said simply.

Matt just stomped away obviously pissed.

"Uh, can someone fill me in on just what happened" a voice said behind me. I turned around and saw David watching Matt leave.

"Lets just say Matt got pissy over a small harmless prank" I said nonchalantly.

He just chuckled and we sat on the schools stairs outside. Sarah told the prank to David and he was drinking milk and it came out of his nose.

I took my phone out and took a picture. Luis and Sarah saw and just laughed a little.

"What did you do?" David said looking at me.

"Nothing really" I said innocently trying to hold in a straight face. I couldn't help it so a snicker left my lips and I hold up my phone to show him the picture.

"Run" is all he said before I sprinted toward the parking lot.

He caught up to me and wrapped a arm around my waist. Which made me turn around.

David reached to my back pocket and took my phone a scrolled until he found the picture and deleted it. I couldn't believe he would reach back there.

I just noticed that he still had his arm wrapped around my waist. I let out a breath of how close we were. He put my hair behind my ear and looked at my eyes.

David was about to say something when we heard our names being called. I looked over his shoulder and saw Luis, Sarah, and Matt walking toward us. When David saw them he unwrapped his arm from my waist and pulled away. When they were standing by us David cleared his throat and avoid eye contact with me. Well okay then.

We all walked back to the stairs we were sitting on and David kept his distance from me. I have to admit it kind of hurt.

Matt broke the silence "what are you guys doing this weekend?" I could his teeth are no longer blue. I bet he scrubbed them like no tommarow. There was a chorus of nothing's.

Matt just smirked. "Well why can't we go to my family's lake house and spend the weekend?"

He's kidding right? the look in eyes says he's being serious.

"I'm up for it." Luis replied.

"So am I" Sarah said.

"Count me in" David said.

Now it was just me. All eyes are on me. Should I go? Sarah is going ill give it a try. I sigh dramatically "fine ill go" Luis and Matt cheered. Sarah hugged me and David was deep in thought looking somewhere in the forest that surrounds the school. What's up with him?

"We leave at six so I advise you go and pack quickly when you get home because I'm not waiting for anyone." Matt stated. I had a feeling that was directed to Amy but I got he was saying.

The bell rang signaling the end of lunch, we said our goodbyes and made times for when Matt was gonna pick each of us up and Amy and I made our way to our first afternoon class together.

I'm spending the weekend with the bad boys.

A whole weekend.

What have I gotten myself into?
