Cleopatra

"Oh? I happen to know a Sang Sorenson," I reply with a grin.

"So you'll let us see her?!" The one with curly blond hair cries excitedly.

"Nope," I answer, still grinning.

I pull out my pistol and start twirling it. Bored, I start throwing it in the air and catching it.

"Oy! You need to at least let us make sure she is safe!" Another exclaims, his blue eyes wide as I toss my gun in the air over and over.

I laugh, "I don't need to do anything!"

"What about breathing?" The boy with long blond hair mutters.

I shrug, "On a good day."

"Please," The giant pleads. "We just need to make sure she is safe."

The redhead adds, "We have been looking for her for a long time. Her safety is our only concern."

"Here's what we are going to do," I decide, shoving the gun in its holster. "See those cameras?"

Patiently, I wait for them to nod before continuing, "I'm going to show Sang a picture of y'all. If she recognizes you, you can speak with her or whatever. If not, well... you better leave."

Seeing that they are about to protest, I hastily add, "Any objections result in your immediate death. Unless you want to die slowly and painfully. I don't mind that either."

I march inside, not waiting for their agreement, and lock the door behind me. I jog to the computer room and take a screenshot of the camera's view and send it to my phone. Realizing that Sang doesn't have a phone, I run up to the bunks with a groan, hoping that she is there. Unfortunately, she is not in there. Or the gym. Or the offices Or the cafeteria. Finally, I check the classroom.

"Of course you're in the last place I check!" I exclaim, throwing my hands in the air in frustration.

Honestly, I probably should've checked here first, seeing the way that Sang and Prof got along so well. Who knew the little bird was so smart. Apparently, she is a genius and hasn't even attended school once in her life. I guess I didn't think to check here first because of Prof. Prof, or Professor Timothy, is not the most normal person. He rarely gets along with others and prefers to talk to himself than to others. Prof will run off in the middle of something to go solve a problem that he has been working on. He is a little strange, but aren't we all. Besides, he'd be good for Sang. I know that she has never had a real family. Hopefully, he can be the father that she needs.

Sang looks up startled, her green eyes wide.

"I didn't know you were looking for me," She says softly.
