*Terra's POV*
I briefly debated going into the shadows with Urse, but I had my own tricks up my sleeve that I needed to save for later. Besides... shadow travel doesn't exactly sit well with my parents.

The forest had a nice little pattern of light on the ground. It was all so comforting. I shift slightly, concentrating on the small green form that enabled me to blend into the forest. I was soon only centimeters from rich soil I was well acquainted with.

Now for the fun part. I leap away from the tree. I knew sapphire was found near the pond, so my little frog feet carried me. The soil felt relaxing after the stressful week I've had. Reassuring certain people was more work than I thought.

I come to the pond, looking in the clear waters with the closest thing to a smile that I could get on my current appearance.

Not many people know about this place, and that's why I like it. I could be me without worrying about anyone screwing with me.

Without hesitation, I hop on a lily pad and look around the rocks. I close my eyes and  tune in with the earth. Dark, lovely  soil and sturdy rocks around the area, that's for sure. Slightly dirty water as well, but that could clean itself with little tampering. Tasty smelling flies and... no! I'm on a mission.

I hop from lily pad to lily pad, getting the same signals as before. I groan internally and hop onto the rock. I switch back into my human form and look longingly at the water. This would be a lovely place for a date but... Nevermind that now.

I stretched out my limbs once I got up from the rocks and continued walking. I checked tree after tree, the bark on my hands buzzing with life, but not one stone. I take a deep breath and try the same in I'm my frog form.

I continued like that, shifting back and forth and becoming too aware of how baggy my clothes were on me and how small I was as a frog. My clenched fists shook the earth as my anger started to get the best of me. I bet I could do this if I communicated with the shadows.

No!

I sit on a stump and try to gather my thoughts. It worked well and I could feel energy humming, but I wasn't sure what from.

"No Max! That's not how the spell goes! What do you want, more wrinkles?" A shrill voice broke through my thoughts.

I jump up from the stump and see two similar dark heads. I quietly walk towards the figures, remembering the two from their first day at Auradon by face. They had bags and supplies scattered around them.

"No Giana! You did this!" He replied to her.

I felt awkward breaking in, but I knew I had to. "Hello, I'm-" I start but get cut off by Giana. "Terra. You turn into a frog right? Facil couldn't stop gushing about that and how calm and pure you were. That and some other stuff," Giana said with a slightly bored tone. "Yeah, we had to force him to shut up about that one," Max added on.

I hide my shock at that, keeping a completely blank face. "May you please help me? I need to find sapphire and-" again cut off. This time by Max.  "Rose Quartz. Urse told us. Lucky for you, we have the rose quartz," he said as he reached down.

He dug around in his bag and produced it. Giana snatched it from him and handed it to me saying, "Our Mom says that this is needed for most spells to work." I smile at the two and take it. "You guys are beautiful, thank you!" I say. "Any luck on the sapphire?" I ask, fiddling with the necklace my parents gave me at birth. They looked at me and laughed. "You may have to get your hands dirty," Max snickered with a point to a nearby rock.

My boots imprint the ground as I walk closer to it and I crouch down. I lift the rock and poke a finger into the ground. I murmur some Ancient Greek and watch the dirt move around until my hand touches something hard.
