The elevator came to a stop in the sub basement of the Lockwood estate.
"These are the very labs that Lockwood and Hammond extracted the first DNA strand of a dinosaur" Eli said as the doors dinged open.
"What they did here was incredible" Maddy said in amazement as she gazed around the labs
"It certainly was Maddison, it certainly was" Eli said as he led them to what looked like a briefing room.
"Now then, before I go any further.... how much are you looking at?" Eli said sitting down at the table and slipping on his glasses
Maddy and Ken stood across from him
"I don't want to be stingy about it, but I do have to make sure that other workers get a similar pay" Eli informed.
Ken looked on, his face still that same pissed off one
"I tell you what" Maddy began
"If you give me a smaller pay now... You can give me the first half in 10 minutes, if you catch my drift" Maddy winked.
Eli grinned at her words and nodded in approval
"I presume that you would like to be payed in full Mr Wheatley?" Eli asked
"Yeah, and... do me a favor, no funny business with the kid, you pay her and you pay her good
Believe me, she's worth every cent you've got" Ken said leaning his back against the wall... completely oblivious towards the flirtatious pay they were speaking of.

"Okey" Eli announced
"That's both of your paycheques filled and ready to go"
"Maddison, would you mind going upstairs for a moment while I speak with your grandfather, it concerns the others that I need to hire" Eli said leading Maddy back to the elevator
"And when I come up... I can give you your first half" the doors to the elevator dinged shut.
As the doors reopened, Maddy was met by the large dinosaur skeletons lining the large open space.
Maddy lost herself as she gazed up at the tremendous skeletons, she didn't even realise that someone else had entered the room.
"Hello" said a petite voice, Maddy gasped with shock and looked down at her side, a little girl stood next to her.
"Hi" Maddy replied with a light chuckle
"Are you here to rescue the dinosaurs?" The girl asked.
Maddy nodded her head as she leaned against the wall.
"Have you seen Mr Mills, he said he'd tell me when the dinosaur expert was arriving?" The girl asked, her eyes glistening with excitement.
"Did he tell you what her name was? Or what she looked like?" Maddy asked, a smirk of amusement spreading across her face.
"No. But he did say that she was very intelligent and very pretty" The girl replied, she briefly seemed to catch on to the appearance of girl standing in front of her.
Her eyes went wide and her mouth hung open with shock
"Your her, aren't you?" The girl said
"Your the expert!" The girl began jumping up and down with delight.
