Maddy found herself stumbling around the woods in a drunken manner.
The amount of blood that was pouring from the cut on the side of her head, made her feel very week and tired.
Her nose was swollen and quite possibly broken, but thankfully her legs weren't damaged so she could make it back to the main park in around an hour.
More green hills came into view up ahead, but something happened.
That 'thing' had already been there, and it left a little surprise for Maddy... a very gruesome and cruel surprise.
Maddy could see over the hills, dozens of dead Apatosaurs.
Maddy tried to take a better look at the direction of where the main visitor centre place was, but a sudden gasp of air came from the Apatosaur laying closest to her.
Maddy was at the herbivores side in seconds with her hands placed onto it's head in a way to try and comfort the animal.
The herbivore let out a series of pained grunts and moans.
Maddy felt helpless knowing that she couldn't do anything for the dying animal.
It writhed around in agony, but all Maddy could do was keep it as calm as she possibly could.
Tears threatened to spill, but Maddy had to be strong, she had to get this animal as calm as she could.
The eyes of the Apatosaur closed, as one final pained breath escaped its lungs.
Maddy let out a choked sob as her tears fell down her dirty cheeks in rivulets.
This thing had to be stopped.
It was killing these poor animals for its own amusement and if it reaches the main park, then it'll kill every living thing on the island.
Maddy looked over the island and finally spotted the roof of the visitor centre in the distance, if she made a run for it then she could be there in twenty minutes tops.
Maddy wasted no time and raced to the centre, she didn't care that every breath she took burned, that she was loosing profuse amounts of blood and that she was literally on the verge of passing out.
She just had to reach the centre and let everyone know that that thing was out there.
