Maddy felt sick upon hearing her grandfathers words.
He hadn't said anything like that since way before he showed up on her doorstep.

He broke Maddy's arm and beat her senselessly when she was ten, she was staying with him one weekend and she ticked him off a little too much.
He threatened her, if she told on him that he'd do a whole lot worse.
But Ally didn't trust Ken Wheatley as far as she could shit
She put her foot down and never allowed him to see her daughter again.

Maddy sat in the truck with Zia across from her.
Zia picked up on Maddy's uneasiness as soon as she sat down.
"What's up with you" Zia asked her casually, but didn't have time to get a response.

"Alright, lets go" Wheatley barked, before climbing into the truck along with Owen and the Mercs.

"You still got eyes on me tower?" Owen asked into his radio.
"Yeah, five hundred meters from your vehicle" Claire said back.
"She's probably picked us up by now" Maddy pointed out, Owen nodded.

"We're not getting any closer to her in this thing" Owen said, looking at the monitor in his hand.
"We should stop here"

"Hold up" Wheatley shouted to the driver, as the truck came to a halt.

"Load up, look alive, stay alive... we got your back brother" Wheatley said patting Owen's shoulder.

Owen stopped as he got out of the truck, he turned to face the wrinkle faced man.
"I think I should go alone, and you guys wait here for my signal" Owen said to Wheatley.

"You said it boy, you go find your Raptor" Wheatley replied leaning his back against the open truck doors, his arms folded over his chest.

"Claire I'm gonna have to track her solo, I need you to be my eyes if she runs" Owen said over the radio
"Copy that" Claire replied putting the radio back down.

She turned her head to look at Ally, who was sitting in the far corner of the room with her head in her hands.

"Ally?" Claire said as she made her way over to her, Ally looked up at Claire with reddened puffy eyes.

"What's the matter Ally?" Claire asked taking Ally's hands into her own.

"Thirty years
Thirty years I haven't been on this island, and the same day I come back to it... I'm also reunited with my daughter... who I don't even know anymore" Ally admitted, as more tears flooded her eyes.

"Hey" Claire cooed
"She's just having a hard time
You know ever since her dad passed, she's completely cut herself off from you
Maybe you'll have to ask her what's wrong yourself" Claire said, trying to reassure her best friend.

Ally nodded her head, as Claire pulled her into a warm embrace.

Maddy began to follow Owen quietly, he didn't seem to realize she was behind him.

Her tranq gun ready to shoot.

Wheatley and his men were a few yards behind Maddy as she trekked through the dense jungle.

She could hear the shrilling of a Velociraptor up ahead, followed by Owen's low yet demanding voice.
