Cass was an odd duck but she likes it that way. She has thick tangly hair, black as satin, the shade of night. Her brushes had been known to snap every once in a way or just get stuck in hair. She jokingly refers to herself as part Wookie. She has dark brown eyes, like brooding amber, mysterious pools that are both kind and strong. Her gaze is intense but inviting. Full of intelligence and glinting with good humor. They could flash with dark anger when roused, or become full of fight and courage if the need came. They also bespeak of an intangible other-worldliness.

Cass always seems out of touch with most of the world. Brown eyes focused on some distant phantasm or alternate reality. That also might explain why she was so clumsy and awkward. A fortnight past she looked down at her feet in her cubicle to realize she wearing two different pairs of shoes! Her face became as crimson and tomato and she let out a panicked whimper as she hightailed it to the bathroom. She came out with a calm resolve minutes later. "Eh, oh well" she explained to herself. "At least they're both black." Sara the Jerk gave her a knowing haughty glace when she noticed her shoes, walking by her. "Whatever, forget Sara," thought Cass as she was in the breakroom. She had found Sara's lunch and was happily humming as she smeared a generous portion of wasabi into her fajitas. Ah, the simple joys of life are usually free. About twenty minutes later Cass was happily plugging away at her work when she heard a blood-curdling scream. "Oh good, Sara likes the wasabi," Cass beamed to herself, grinning ear to ear. "Today wasn't so bad after all", she thought, mouthing the words to her favorite song...
