Taylor blasted the speaker with solar energy as it catches fire. She could manipulate the sun's energy and use it as a weapon just like firestorm could manipulate nuclear energy but hers was the sun. She heard another voice from another speaker ahead of her.
" You can't stop me"
" Why don't you come out of hiding you coward!" She yelled out. Midnight was on her feet thanks to Taylor.
" We should call the team" midnight insisted.
" No. We can handle him trust me" Taylor assured and took flight scanning around. Immediately a dead car came to life flying her way, she dodge it but there was another which knocked her out of the sky to a nearby debris.
Midnight flew to her teammate's aid. " are you hurt"
" Am fine. He is around here somewhere, we need to lure him out. He is using his powers against us from a far distance" Taylor informed her.
" How do we do that" midnight asked.
" I don't that yet" she answered.
" Besides I thought he could only control technology, how the hell did he lift a car at you" Midnight said as they both stood up.
" Phonexis shares her telekinetic powers with the group using her mind allowing all of them to have telekinesis even though they do have superpowers" Taylor explained.
" Why would she do that" midnight asked anxiously.
" They were only suppose to use the telekinesis when in need of help from her at a particular place and time, it act as a radio transmitter. Which means.." she trailed off releasing Ron's plan.
" He sending out a message to her about our location! We need to call for backup now!!" Midnight implied finishing her sentence and switching on her communicator but instead, she heard a voice from it.
" TOO LATE!!"
An energy force from nowhere knocked both heroine off their feet to a nearby car crashing it.
Taylor was the first to groan in pain glancing at the direction at which the force came from. Walking towards her was Ron but he was not alone.
A woman with red hair putting on a green jumpsuit with a red cape matching her hair. She recognized the lady instantly.
" Phonexis" she muttered and glance at her partner midnight. She was in pain and unable to move. She needs her help if they are going to take down phonexis, but this was all her fault. Midnight warned her about this but she was too focused on taking care of the Minds once and for all.
It was too late now, the leader is here and this is her chance to get revenge.
She stood up summoning her balls of solar energy gritting her teeth. Phonexis stopped a few steps away from her and smiled.
" You know when Ron sent me the message I thought he was dealing with a bunch of protectors, but it just you and weakling friend over there" she began.
" She is not a weakling you are, and besides where are the remaining of your losers you call a team" Taylor asked.
" I don't need them to deal with cowards like you,light" phonexis seethed.
" You finally get my name right. I've been waiting for a long time to end you" Taylor glared at her and launched at her sending the energy with full power.
Phonexis dragged Ron in the way taking the blast to the chest as he fell down to the ground with a hole from the place of impact.
Taylor stopped in her tracks in shock of what she just witnessed.
Phonexis looks at Ron's eyes who was already fading away with self pity.
" I'm sorry young warrior.. but never call me out from a very important work to come fight your battles. That's why you are a mind and you have a part of my powers to assist you" she said lifting his body from the ground and snapped his neck with her mind.
