Midnight POV

Taylor remained unconscious as we returned back to the headquarters, she was rushed into medical center as assigned doctors and nurses moved Into the room with aqua boy too. Apart from being a crime fighter, he was a doctor too and good at his Job.
The rest of us stood outside watching through the transparent background glass as the doctors did their job. A hand was placed on her shoulder suddenly she turned, it was Vince aka infinity.

" It was not your fault, remember that alright" he said. She nods and turned back to the glass, but she was couldn't get the feeling away.
This is all my fault.

Hours later

Aqua boy stepped out of the room and walked towards us. Some of the team sat at the chairs provided, while some remain standing, like me. Immediately I sighted him, I ran up to him. Others later joined me.

" Is she going to be okay" I asked anxiously. He looked at me with a pity look.

" Well.. she suffered a brain damage to the cerebral cortex but we've managed to stabilize her. Right now she is in a coma." He answered.

" Can we wake her up" bolt questioned.

" No. Anything we try to do will send her into shock. At this point, she is the only one who can wake herself up" aqua boy said. I placed my hands on my waist and went to grab a seat.

"How long until she wakes up" I looked at him.

" I don't know Jade.. maybe days, weeks, months maybe years..am sorry" he replies.

" Every one meet me up at the conference room, we need to figure out a way to stop this guys now" he informed us. He voice you would know he is upset so was I but how can you beat the Minds?

Later on we were all seated at the conference room except Vince. We were all still in our costumes, he pressed a button on a remote and a big screen appears with a large photo of the Minds. My eyes was set on phonexis and I was filled with pure anger but I didn't show it.

" So we know the Minds are now working with the A squad wilders, phonexis still has the kidnapped women maybe sold some of them and what ever her plans are.. we don't know yet. She hasn't sent a message demanding a ransom. We can't wait that long, so any suggestions" he looked at us.

" Why are the A squad wilders working with the Minds, I thought every group has their own agenda" sky a female elemental asked.

" Money and backup. The Minds are small in number and if we attack we will outmatch them. So phonexis seek out the A squad wilders, made a deal with them from the money they get after selling a few of the women. so now they stand a chance." He answered.

" We have to find a way to get those women back, that's the main priority" golem implied.

" Yeah but how. We don't even know where they are" shock. another member of the brutes retorted.

" We track them, I have a plan" Vince responded.

" What plan" weed. An elemental questioned.

" Phonexis haven't called to ask for her ransom yet, so we contact her and while I try to negotiate with her, tornado our computer geek will trace the call to her location." He said with a smile on his face. " Phonexis may be a good with her powers, but not smart"

" What about the technopath" cage leader of the brutes cut in.

" He can only detect tech that are three miles away remember" aqua boy reminded him.

" Let's do it and get those sons of bitches. For Taylor" midnight said.

" For Taylor" the rest team replied in unison.
