Wes seemed to ooze emotion while I didn't look him once in the face and race down the stairs with a pair of shoes in my hands. I looked at what Ryan had cooked up and saw a big plate of eggs and toast, I got a small meal of it and downed it nervously.
Mark and Ryan both stared at me in surprise. "What?" I gasped while getting some water and going to my living room to find the pills I was given. I'd completely forgot about them again. I downed two of the pain relievers and one of the anti-depressants all together.
Wes watched me the whole morning with his arms crossed, looking dangerous and very curious.
"C'mon Brian," Ryan motioned for me to go out with him to his car. I shook my head and he glared at me, "You're not walking to school."
"I'm going to drive my motorcycle." I replied and went out to the garage. Maybe I could just put a little space from everyone and I could start feeling a little better.
My arm was already starting to feel sore and my body felt worn out. Wes came up to me, his hands in his pockets, "I- I interrupted you because Ryan doesn't know you're gay... but I don't know why I did it, I know that he wouldn't care."
"Alright," I shrugged and slipped on my riding jacket and grabbed my helmet. "Chill out about it okay, it's not like it's contagious."
"It's not- I didn't mean- don't th-" he kept babbling.
I held my hand up and gave him a small smile, "Yes you did, and it's fine. I'm pretty sure Ryan is straight anyway." A chuckle burst from me and then a round of coughs because of my throat. "I'll see ya at school" I choked before putting my helmet on and getting onto my bike.
Ryan waved at me as I backed out and so did Mark while he watched Ryan with interest. I waved and drove off to school, today should be an interesting day.
When I got to the school entrance it was pretty packed of kids. I focused on finding a spot to park and found one quickly. After I got off my bike I put my music on and made my speedy walk to the doors of the school.
The people around all turned to look at me and I could feel all their eyes on me as I walked by and made my way to my locker. God I hated everyone here, they were so freaking annoying. A hand rested on my shoulder, pulled me back and I was yanked to someone's chest.
"Whoa." I gasped and yanked my headphones from my ears, "What the-"
"You know, you are so unsocial. Mind me stealing your quiet time?" Ryan grinned at me. I sighed a little and rolled up my ipod. "Woo!"
"You are so annoying." I shook my head with a smile, "Don't you have other friends?"
"Yes but you can be more entertaining. Now... tell me, why have I never seen parents around your house?"
"I don't live with them anymore." I said softly and looked around a bit, no one was really in the hall with us.
"why?" Ryan asked, shifting so he could see me a little better.
"I came out to them and they decided this was their chance to kick me out." I shrugged.
"Came out...?"
"I'm gay." I stated with a blank look at him and leaving his arm so that I could go into the classroom. Ryan followed in slowly.
"Really?" he asked with a confused look. "I thought you were with someone."
I snorted, "You don't listen very well, do you? Or make connections..."
"Hey, I do so make connections!" he pouted.
