it's been three days since luke has gotten his lip piercing. and if you think things wouldn't be changing after that, you're wrong.

people have been noticing him a lot. his change of clothes, he doesn't stutter as much anymore, and definitely his lip piercing. girls have been going batshit crazy over it. each day more and more girls have been following him around, and its only been three days.

i've got to admit, with all the attention on him, he barely hangs out with me or the guys anymore. he still does, when can, but it isn't the same. it's like he has to be with us or else we'll freak out, not because he wants to.

but it's a new day today, and hopefully he will be able to hang out with the guys. they've been pretty worried about him.

i walk in my school and try to spot my friends. i see my best friend kassandra. she is with ashton, michael, and calum. as i walk closer and closer to them, i can see kassandra twirling her brown hair with her finger while talking to ashton. i start to laugh quietly when i see this.

basically when kassandra twirls her hair with her finger while talking to a guy, it means she's flirting with him. i'm glad the guy she's flirting with now is single, not like that other time.

michael notices me walk up to them and he waves to me.

"aye." michael says to me. i flash him a smile and calum greets me. ashton and kassanddra didn't notice me. i groan and calum laughs at me.

"yo love birds, quit trying to have eye sex with each other and say hi to your best friend!" calum hollers to them. kassandra and ashton turn our way and blush. kassandra skips to my side and hugs me.

"sorry, bestie. i was just talking to ashton about that new movie that came out in theaters. we're planning on going together after school tomorrow." kassandra explains. i turn to ashton and he smiles, his dimples popping out. michael puts his arm around ashton.

"ayeeee we're all not doing anything tomorrow! why dont we join?" michael tells ashton. ashton looks at michael.

"you guys are not invited." ashton says, his lips form in a straight line. michael laughs and pinches ashton's cheeks. ashton slaps his hands away, grinning.

"i'm just teasing ya, babe. have fun!" michael tells ashton. ashton smiles and looks at kassandra. she blushes and looks down. i roll my eyes at their behavior and turn to calum.

"since they're doing something tomorrow, why dont you, me, michael, and luke do something? we could go to the beach! the weather will be great tomorrow." i suggest. calum and micahel shrug.

"well, im not doing anything tomorrow after school. so, why not!" calum excitedly says. michael nods his head agreeing

"i'm sure luke will be doing something tomorrow with his new friends." ashton mumbles. i turn to ashton and frown.

"theyre just being friendly with him. hey, they're finally not teasing luke. you should be happy for him." i defend him. luke may have not been hanging out with us, but he tries to. and for me that counts.

"speak of the ditcher." ashton mumbles again. i feel a presence behind me and i turn around. it's luke and he wears another band shirt with black skinny jeans and vans, his now usual clothing. he seems out of breath as he smiles at all of us.

"s-sorry i was late, guys. nick and his buds wanted me to have breakfast with them at this sweet cafe downtown. we all s-should go there sometime!" luke excitedly says. the others lok at each other worriedly. nick is the biggest douche in this school. he does everything you could ever think of. bullying others, sleeping with girls that are only hot, throwing gigantic parties every friday, etc. i'm surprised luke would agree to hang out with him.
