AU: Sick Izuku au, Dad Might au (if that's an AU)

Katsuki Bakugo
Quirk: Explosions

(Right now it is currently taking place when they were kids so Midoriya doesn't have his quirk yet, and he's a "late bloomer" or whatever it's called so he gets his quirk later in the story)

It was the first day of school for Izuku Midoriya since he had missed the first week, being sick. "Hello?" Izuku said just above a whisper. "Oh, you must be Izuku Midoriya, right?" asked the teacher while Izuku nodded in response. "You can sit over next to Bakugo," the teacher then pointed towards Bakugo so Izuku would know where she meant. Izuku nodded and walked over towards where Bakugo was sitting and sat down.

"Hi, I'm Midoriya Izuku," Bakugo just looked away not wanting to talk to him. Midoriya put his head down and silently sighed under his breath. 'I guess everyone already has friends to talk to and play with' he thought to himself, 'I can always try talking to other people who might now have a friend yet...'

"Okay, everyone how about we go outside and play a game of tag?" Announced the teacher and everyone in the class cheered out of excited, except Midoriya and Bakugo. 'What's tag? It's sounds like fun!' Midoriya wondered.

...during tag when Bakugo was 'it'...

As Bakugo was chasing after Midoriya, trying to tag him, he tagged him a little too hard on his back making him fall. Midoriya almost immediately started coughing. No one had noticed since everyone who saw Midoriya get tagged started running away and the teacher was watching the other kids before Midoriya fell. "Get up," said Bakugo almost like a demand, but Midoriya didn't move a muscle and continued to cough eventually with blood coming out. Then, Bakugo kicked him lightly in the stomach with his hands in his pockets. "I said, get up!" Bakugo yelled. Midoriya still didn't move, instead it just made the coughing worse.

Finally, Bakugo thought something was wrong so he ran over to the teacher. "Miss, the new kid is on the ground coughing and he's not moving." At that time, Midoriya passed out from blood loss. The teacher immediately called an ambulance and Midoriya's mom, Inko Midoriya.

After that day, Bakugo knew that he had to protect this boy from any harm. That didn't last long.

...a few months later...

"Get up stupid Deku!" Yelled Bakugo. Midoriya was once again coughing after Bakugo had pushed him down. "K-Kacchan... *cough* w-why are you *cough* being s-so mean??" Midoriya could barely hold himself up anymore.

"Stupid Deku! I said get up! Unless you don't want to be like All Might anymore and just be a wimp!" And with that Midoriya passed out again, and another trip to the hospital.

Midoriya had a disease that weakened his immune system making it easier for him to get sick and most of the time that lead to him coughing up blood instead of just throwing up, having a high temperature, etc. This disease doesn't have a name since Midoriya is one of the ONLY people that have ever had it and it also doesn't have a cure, either.

(I guess is kind of like Hanahaki but without him suffering from a one-sided love)

...7 years later...
(Everyone is now in their third year of junior high)

It was a peaceful day at Aldera Junior High, everything was normal and nothing had gone wrong. Bakugo has left Midoriya alone and everyone just went on with their day like normal. "I could pass out job recommendation papers, but I know you all want to go into the hero course!" I don't remember exactly what the teacher said so I'm going to skip ahead a little to where he says that Midoriya wanted to go to UA along with Bakugo. "Oh yeah, Midoriya don't you want to go to UA, too?" Asked the teacher. With that, the class burst into laughter. "Midoriya!?" "You mean that sick, quirkiness kid!?" "Deku!!" Midoriya flinched at Bakugo's sudden outburst and slowly started to hide under/behind his desk.

...later...

Midoriya was walking home and as he was walking through a small tunnel he let out a small laugh. "Heh, the hero course. What a joke. Bakugo seriously thinks HE'LL make it? I mean he does have a powerful quirk... but he doesn't have the right attitude to be a hero. Besides, I have a better chance of getting in then h-" Midoriya was suddenly cut off by the sound of the sludge villain which he'd know from anywhere. He immediately turned around and watched as he formed to shocked/scared to move. "Well look what we got here... a little quirkless boy who thinks he can be something big, let's see how you do against me. That is, before I take over your body." Midoriya immediately tried to run away but, the sludge villain got to him first.

As Midoriya struggled to get loose and try to escape, he started coughing up blood again making him loose even more oxygen. "What the- blood!?" The sludge villain accidentally let go of Midoriya while trying to figure out what happened. While Midoriya was trying to get up so he could run away, he continued to cough. The sludge villain noticed that he had let Midoriya go so he immediately trapped Midoriya again.

When Midoriya was about to pass out, he heard a familiar voice. "Smash!" And with that, Midoriya was free but his eyes only opened for a second to see who saved him but he couldn't tell.

Midoriya woke up to someone rapidly tapping his cheek with their full hand. (I don't know how to explain the action All Might made at that time) Midoriya immediately jumped back when he noticed who it was. "Well, it looks like everything works fine. Then, I must be on my way!" "A-all Might! Wait a second... I have a question..." "What is it, my boy?" "Is it possible for someone to be hero, even if they don't have a quirk?" 'He must not know that he's not going to obtain One for All until his body is ready..' thought All Might. "Well, some villains can't be beat without a quirk, so, no I don't think it's possible for you to be a hero without a quirk." "Oh.."

...little while later...

!!BOOM!!

Midoriya's head jolted to the source of the explosion.

CLIFF HANGER!!

I'm going to end it here because I am getting bored and this has been sitting here for over 2 weeks now, I probably won't continue this because I am terrible at writing and I have major writer's block right now and I've basically lost motivation in this book. Also, I don't want to just write a story that is the same as the anime because that would just get boring.
