Tododeku vs Bakudeku

Chapter Six: Hero Battle Training

So the guy from the entrance exam and Kacchan are on the same team...

Knowing Kacchan he'll probably make the guy freeze the building, I better tell Uraraka-Cha-

"BEGIN!"

Too late... she's already running in the building.

I started following her into the building.

"Hey Uraraka-Chan."

"Yeah?"

"A guy on the villain team has an ice quirk so Kacchan will probably make him freeze the building. Jump when I say so."

"Ok, got it."

A moment later I saw a thick layer of ice come rushing towards us.

"Jump!"

We both jumped over the ice but Uraraka slipped letting out a shocked scream.

I helped her up then started running further into the building.

"DEKU!"

Kacchan..?

My eyes widened as he started aiming his quirk towards us.

"Uraraka-Chan get d-!"

"Too late!"

I activated my quirk as fast as possible and pushes Uraraka out of the way.

"Are you ok Uraraka-Chan?"

"Yeah..."

I noticed a blush start forming on her face so I quickly got up after telling her something.

"Focus on getting to the room with the bomb, I'll distract Kacchan."

I saw he nod her head as she waited for the perfect moment to get away.

I started running with Uraraka a few steps behind me.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING DEKU!?"

"Uraraka now."

Uraraka continued running around the corner as Kacchan fired his quirk again coming around the other corner behind me. I barely managed to dodge the attack, using it as a distraction for Kacchan so I could activate my quirk again jumping from wall to wall, eventually alighting behind Kacchan.

"Smash!"

I aimed my quirk at Kacchan's back making him fall on the floor, still covered in ice.

I tried to get away to help Uraraka with the ice guy, but Kacchan had other plans.

"Deku!"

I quickly whipped my head around to see Kacchan aiming his grenade towards me with a slight smirk on his face. I was stunned, not knowing the power it could have, or how big it would be so I tried to block it, crossing my arms in front of my face in a x shape.

That was a mistake.

The explosion caused a huge hole in the wall behind me while simultaneously damaging the walls and floor around me.

'I'm... not giving up...'

I struggle a little to stay standing from the impact of the explosion, feeling the burning pain in my arms. I heard All Might come over the earpiece everyone in the exercise had.

"Young Bakugo! Do that one more time and your team will lose! You could have killed him!"

I could hardly hear it, trying not to focus on the pain in my arms. I stood in a ready fighting position as I waited for Kacchan's next move. If he fired his other grenade I'd be done for. I'd be lucky if I survived it...

I guess Kacchan didn't hear All Might as he began to aim his other grenade towards me.

"Kacchan!"

Too late... he already pulled the trigger. I spread my arms out preparing myself for the pain when I had an idea. I started to activate my quirk at 100%, breaking my bones would be better than dying so I aimed it at the roof giving Uraraka an extra weapon against the ice guy.

~POV change~

A strong force of wind broke the floor causing lots of debris to go around. This was Midoriya's quirk. I activated my quirk and caused my body so almost become anti-gravity and flouted over the hole and the guy with red and white hair, deactivating my quirk when I was over the bomb and hugged it.

-a few moments earlier-

"Young Bakugo! Do that one more time and your team will lose! You could have killed him!"

I hope Midoriya's ok... (Uraraka and Todoroki)

~POV change~

The explosion finally cleared, revealing a Deku lying on the floor with two broken legs and a broken arm, while being covered in burn marks. I noticed a slight amount of blood coming from his mouth...

HIS DISEASE!

I started running over to him to make sure he didn't lose too much blood, I turned his head up, attempting to at least keep the blood in his mouth.

"I'm sorry Izuku..."

I felt a trickle of tears flow down my face as I looked at my childhood friend in this state... because of me, because of my selfish attitude of always wanting to win...

I looked up at the sound of footsteps coming closer. I saw the half n half guy and Deku's teammate, both with shocked/saddened/disappointed faces.

~POV change~

After All Might said that the hero team won before the girl on Midoriya's team touched the bomb I knew Bakugo did whatever he did again and Midoriya was hurt. Both of us started running to the source of the wind knowing it was where Midoriya was.

-present-

We both stood there staring at a crying Bakugo holding the damaged Midoriya as Recovery Girl started to call an ambulance for Midoriya, saying that it was too much for her quirk to heal, and that he needed a blood transplant for losing so much.

-Time Skip-

~POV change~

We all made it to where All Might and the rest of the class was, the stain from the tears still evident on my face. All Might approached me with a stern face and started scolding me for being so immature and for causing Midoriya so much pain. I looked up eventually to see everyone looking at me with disappointment evident on all of their faces.

"I'm sorry..."

"That doesn't help Young Midoriya heal faster."
