Chapter 10- Joey's Surprise

Chapter 10-

<Joey's POV>

I gasped as the car stopped.

"Are we here?" I asked, bouncing with excitement.

Shane chuckled and untied my blindfold but kept it held over my eyes.

"Ready for your surprise?" He asked.

"I was born ready."

"Three... Two... One!" Shane said and yanked the blindfold off of my eyes.

I looked out my window and saw a plane taking off into the night sky.

"Oh my god Shane!" I squealed and threw myself into his arms.

I kissed him on his cheek, his nose, his forehead, and finally his lips.

We pulled away.

"We're going to Boston!" Shane announced, his hand rubbing the back of my neck.

"Shane, you really didn't have to do this." I said.

He shrugged. "Anything for you my love."

I grinned like an idiot.

"I love you so much Shane."

He smiled and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"I love you more."

<Shane's POV>

We quickly went through airport security and boarded our plane.

Joey and I fell asleep right away, and I was awoken by Joey shaking my shoulder.

"Shaney wake up! We're here!" He said cheerily.

I groaned and rubbed my eyes.

Joey pulled on my arm, trying to get me up.

"Come on Shane!" He whined.

I grabbed my bag and stood up, Joey pulling me behind him.

We waited for everyone to exit the plane and Joey was getting impatient.

I squeezed his hand and chuckled at him.

While we were waiting, I felt as if somebody was standing behind me.

I turned around and no one was there.

I turned back around when I felt someone grab the back of my neck.

"You're mine." Lisa whispered.

My head was pounding and full of confusion. I looked behind me.

Lisa's not there Shane! I told myself this over and over, but it didn't help.

I could still hear her voice in my head saying mean things to me.

Was I going crazy?

Lisa's voice started giggling at my frustration, but it all stopped when Joey pulled me into a kiss.

"Don't be nervous." He said. "My family will love you!"

I nodded and we walked out of the plane.

<Joey's POV>

When I entered the terminal, I searched for my sister and found her already running towards me.

I dropped my bag and Shane's hand.

"NICHOLE!" I yelled.

I ran over to my sister and pulled her into a hug, spinning her around.

"Joey! I've missed you so much!" She said hugging me tighter.

I pulled away from her hug as Shane got my bag and made his way over to us.

"Nichole, this is my boyfriend Shane." I said.

She smiled even bigger and pulled him into a hug.

He looked surprised, but hugged back.

She pulled away.

"So this is who Joey won't stop talking about." She teased, my face turning red.

Shane shot me a look. "All good things, I hope."

I laughed. "Well... Mostly good things."

Shane flipped his weave. "Whatever Joseph."

Nichole giggled. "You guys are too funny!"

We got to Nichole's car, and Shane and I cuddled in the back seat.

When we got to my Mom's house, Shane shot me a nervous look.

"Relax Shane! My family's gonna love you! How could they not?" I said, trying to calm him.

He took a deep breath and grabbed my hand.

"Let's do this."
