Chapter 38-

<Shane's POV>

I woke up the next morning to a beautiful angelic voice that I knew all too well.

Joey.

He held his phone up to his ear, talking to someone.

"Yeah sure. Sounds great! Okay. Later Kalel!" Joey hung up and sighed.

"What did Kalel want?" I asked, making Joey jump.

Joey turned around and smiled at me. "We're gonna get our tuxes today!" He squealed.

I laughed. "That's great!"

"Oh and Shane, don't let me forget that we have to pick up your Mom before going shopping. Kalel talked to her a few days ago and she agreed to help plan the wedding. We're still awaiting Ingrid's answer." He said.

I sat up. "Did you upload the engagement video yet?" I asked.

Joey nodded, handing me his laptop. "I did it this morning. For the most part, the comments aren't that bad!"

I scrolled through the comments and found that most of them were congratulating us, and there were only a few haters.

I leaned in and gave Joey a long kiss, not wanting to pull away.

Joey pulled away and cupped my face in his hands. "We have nothing to worry about. They support us!"

I nuzzled into Joey's hands and he giggled. "You're too cute!" He said, making me blush.

I jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen, but Joey quickly caught up to me, grabbing my wrist and pulling my lips to his.

We pulled away and Joey flashed his sexy smile at me. "Are you gonna help me make breakfast?" He asked.

"No. I'm cooking for you today. You go and get ready!" I replied, kissing Joey on the cheek.

Joey blushed and ran quickly ran upstairs, trying to hide his face.

I chuckled and got out the blender and a pan.

Ten minutes later, I had made a strawberry banana smoothie and an egg sandwich for Joey.

I just decided to eat a chocolate doughnut, suddenly feeling too lazy to cook anything for myself.

<Joey's POV>

I got dressed and walked down the stairs, only to find Shane eating a doughnut.

I giggled. "Typical Shane." I sassed.

Shane put his hands on his hips. "Just because you eat all healthy doesn't mean that I have to!"

I giggled some more and Shane sat at the dining room table, across from some eggs and a smoothie.

I sat down and Shane watched me intently as I took the first bite.

I swallowed and grinned. "You've outdone yourself Shaney. Who knew that you could cook?"

Shane smiled back and shrugged, eating the last bite of his doughnut.

Shane checked his phone and his eyes grew wide.

"Joey eat faster! We only have a half hour to meet with Kalel and we still have to pick up my Mom!" He explained.

My eyes grew wide and I quickly ate the rest of my breakfast while Shane went upstairs and got ready to leave.

I put my dishes in the sink just as Shane's feet hit the floor at the bottom of the steps.

He smirked at me. "Perfect timing." He said.
