Chapter 2
“Dude! I’ve missed you! Even though it has only been one day” laughed Maya.
“I know rite. Hey if you don’t mind, I kinda called Ryan and Jeremy.” Said Sophia
“The more the merrier” Maya said still giggling.
“Look what I brought!” Sophia held up four huge bags of different types of chips and 3 big bottles of coke. Maya laughed and said “That is going to finish after 5 minutes with the boys around. They are practically piranhas!”
“Do you want me to go get more?” she asked. “No it’s alright I have popcorn in the cupboard” said Maya. “Hey look the guys are here.” Maya said while looking at the black BMW driving towards them. The car stopped and two guys came out of the car.
“Hey guys!” shouted the girls. “Jeremy do you hear anyone talking to us?” asked Ryan. “Umm…Not quite Ryan” Answered Jeremy.
“Oh very funny guys. You guys better come on in fast before I closed the door and you miss all these lttle snacks we bought. 5,4,3…” Maya said in a mocking voice
Both the guys ran into the house while grabbing the snacks Sophia and jumped onto the sofa. Maya laughed “Such kids” she told Sophia. Sophia rolled her eyes and laughed.
Maya closed the door and heard the microwave with the popcorn in it ring. “I’ll get it!” Said Jeremy. Maya just sat down when she heard Jeremy scream and drop the bowl of popcorn. Everybody groaned while Maya stood up and went into the kitchen.
She saw Jeremy sucking his fingers and asked “What happened?” while she rolled her eyes at him. “The bowl was hot!” Jeremy whimpered.
“What did you expect dufus it just came out of the microwave!” Maya laughed.
“Stop laughing.” Jeremy cleaned up the mess and put another packet of popcorn in the microwave.
They gathered in the TV room and sat down. The chips were already opened and Coke was poured in all four glasses. Sophia sat down beside Jeremy and Maya sat down beside Ryan. The microwave ringed again.
This time Maya looked at Ryan and said “You’ll get it.” and smiled at him. He rolled his eyes and went into the kitchen. “Make sure you don’t drop the bowl!”
“I’m not so dumb Maya!” Ryan laughed and Jeremy made a hurt face and touched his heart.
Ryan came into the TV room holding the bowl and putting it on the table. Halfway through the movie Sophia said “This is boring.”
Everyone agreed and stared at the TV. Maya turned it off and said “Let’s go out for a drive. Just let me go get changed.
She raced up the stairs taking to steps at once and she heard Sophia following her. Sophia has always been her dressing adviser being such a fashionable freak.
She open her walk-in closet her parents had built for her on her 12th birthday and stepped into it.
“I’m still surprise that you have a bigger closet than me. But I’m just shocked that you don’t make the best of it. Look at all these empty spaces” complained Sophia. Maya just laughed and walked to the end of the closet where all her casual wear was.
Maya put on a pair of loose jeans and a black tank top. Sophia turned around and squealed “What the hell are you wearing?!”
Maya looked down at herself and looked back up at Sophia “Umm… clothes?”
“That looks hideous!” Sophia looked at her with a disgusted expression. The normal expression whenever she saw someone where something she taught was ugly. That’s Sophia thought Maya.
