Chapter 9
“How did you get my number?” she asked.
“Why baby, of course I have you number.” Erik said
“I said how Erik.” Maya said her voice getting angrier with every word.
“Aww... don’t get angry honey. I just want a bit of your time and show what I got.”
“Fucking perv!” she shouted and slammed her phone shut.
She sighed and lay back down.
“Is he disturbing you?” Ian asked
“Oh no he’s not.” Maya said in a sarcastic voice. “Sorry she mumbled and lied down on his chest.
Ian stroked her hair and kissed the top of her head. She looked up at him and kissed him. He kissed her back and rolled so he was on top of her. “So where did we stop?” he smirked.
Maya laughed. “Let’s just go out for a walk.”
“Fine.” Said Ian
Maya put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and climbed down the stairs. Ian opened the passenger seat of his car for her and climbed into the driver’s seat.
“Cool car.” She said
“Thanks.” Ian laughed.
Ian parked his car in the parking lot opened the door for her. He took her hand and walked into the mall.
Maya’s phone rang and she flipped it open.
“New boyfriend huh?” a male voice said.
Maya pulled the phone away from her ear and looked at the small screen.
Erik. Maya sighed and said “What do you want?”
Ian took the phone away from her and put it to his ear.
“Dude. You better listen up before I mash your face into tiny little pieces. Back. Off. And stop disturbing Maya. You got that? You call her one more time for no bloody reason but to irritate her and I swear I will make sure you never see another day.” Ian slammed the phone shut and handed it back to her.
They were about to start walking again when they heard some cough behind them.
They turned around and saw Erik standing there smirking.
“That’s it.” Ian ran towards Erik and was just about to punch him when Erik raised his hands in a surrendering way.
“Hey man. You said I could not call her not see her.” Erik teased and Ian threw his fist into Erik’s jaw.
Maya stared mouth wide open at the two boys wrestling on the floor.
Eventually the guard pulled them apart and held them away from each other.
Ian had a cut on his lip and above his eye. One of Erik’s eyes was bruised and his nose was bleeding.
Erik smirked at Ian and turned to me “This is not the end love.”
