SEVEN – Differences

"Uh hello?"

Sungjin stepped into the apartment, looking around cautiously. The staff who brought him here had mentioned that there're only two boys living in this dorm. Sungjin thought that they would at least be there for an introduction but what welcomed him were two voices.

They were arguing.

Feeling a little awkward, Sungjin stepped further but slowly into the apartment and that's when he saw them. Two boys, in their school uniform, having a very heated up moment and Sungjin could tell that neither of them were willing to back down. He wanted to call out for them but he certainly didn't want to be caught in their crossfire. So he just stood there, watching them and unintentionally listening to their conversation.

"I cleaned up the room for you and now you're blaming me?" Sungjin's gaze shifted to the boy who said that.

"And I've told you beforehand when we moved in to not ever touch my things, right?" This time, his eyes shifted to the other boy, the one with the smaller eyes.

"You could have at least told me?"

"How would I know you needed it urgently for school?"

Sungjin's gaze kept shifting from one boy to the other as they both tried to prove that they are the right one to the other person. It took them quite a short while but eventually, they felt the presence of someone else in their room.

The two of them stared at him.

Sungjin stared back at them then raised his hand awkwardly.

"Uh hi, I'm Sungjin and I'm joining you guys from today onwards." He gave them an awkward smile before he continued.

"And I totally didn't hear what you guys were saying. Please continue." Sungjin quickly scurried off to a random room, quietly noting to himself to never get on the bad sides of either one and at the same time, praying that they won't ever fight again.

However, that didn't come true.

Jaebum and Jinyoung, they were similar yet pretty different. They were both prideful boys and don't back down easily. Adding on, they also didn't agree on some things with each other. That's usually the reason why their conversation ended up into a fight, as both of them wanted each other to be able to see from their point of view. But oddly, the both of them have one of the best teamwork out there within the male trainee team.

Sungjin wasn't the only one who witnessed the fights between the two boys. Almost everyone did and poor Bambam was got caught in their argument once too. At that time, Bambam had absolutely no idea why Jaebum was mad at him. He could only pretend he understood what Jaebum was talking about but that's what made the older boy even more mad.

Sungjin, Wonpil and Brian weren't with them; they were having their usual jamming session then. Mark wasn't that fluent in their language yet to be able to do anything; he couldn't understand half of what Jaebum said and he believed that Bambam couldn't too. He turned to look at Jinyoung, hoping he could get an explanation but the moment Mark saw him, he knew that things are going to be bad.

"Can you stop?" Jinyoung interrupted Jaebum who shifted his attention away from Bambam and to him. There's an obvious annoyed look on Jaebum's face but Jinyoung didn't seem to be bothered by it. Bambam took this chance to take a few steps back before turning to Mark who motioned him to go sit beside him.

"Did you just interrupt me?"

"Yes, I did." Jinyoung kept his gaze on the other boy, clearly not intimidated by Jaebum's deadly stare. "You were being a little too much to Bambam."

"He made a mistake." Jaebum stated firmly, giving Jinyoung his full attention now. Both Mark and Bambam could feel the tension in the practice room building up but there's nothing the both of them could do.

"It was a mistake that he probably wouldn't understand because he's just a kid! A foreign one too!" Jinyoung raised his voice slightly, pointing at the direction of where Bambam is which made that young boy feeling all confused. He turned to look at Mark whom just shook his head in response, as if telling him to not be bothered about it.

"So I was just trying to teach him!" Jaebum's voice got louder too, obviously annoyed at how Jinyoung was defending Bambam.

"How's that teaching? Bambam doesn't even understand half of what you just said." Jinyoung scoffed at Jaebum's words and continued. "You were just using that kid as a venting sponge because you're in a bad mood!"

That did it.

"What did you say?" Jaebum stepped closer to Jinyoung, gripping on to the shirt of the other boy tightly.

Jinyoung rolled his eyes at his actions and words.

"What?" He gave Jaebum a smirk, which irked the latter even more. Sometimes, Jaebum really hates it when Jinyoung could read him like an open book. "I hit the spot, didn't I?"

Mark stood up finally at that time. He still had no clue what was the argument about but he knew that those two will definitely end up having a physical fight if no one stopped them. The other Korean boys weren't here so all Mark could do was pull Jaebum back and telling the both of them to stop with his limited knowledge of their language.

Bambam watched the three older boys for a while. Jaebum brushing his bangs back in anger. Jinyoung with his annoyed face while he stood there with arms akimbo. And Mark who just sighed between the both of them.

Silence took over the practice room and that's when Bambam reached out for his phone and send a message to a group chat that read, 'Bambam And His Pretty Noonas'. Nayeon was the one who made the chat.

Bambam: The hyungs/oppas are fighting again. :/

Nayeon: Did you do something wrong again? It's hyungs for you by the way.

Bambam: I didn't!

Jeongyeon: You didn't or you didn't know.

Jisoo: Is it bad? Who is it this time?

Bambam: Jaebum and Jinyoung.

Jisoo: Why am I not surprised? -__-

Jeongyeon: Expected

Nayeon: Did they finally punch each other? ^^

Jisoo: NAYEON!

Jeongyeon: YAH

Bambam: Mark stopped them. >.<

Next Chapter: Hide n' Seek

---------

I have no idea why I always start the different part of the story with JJP. It's a coincidence I swear. But I guess, it's also because they were the first to debut. Anyway, like mentioned, we are going into the lives of the 11 of them. There won't be an obvious timeline but you can try to fit in. For example, since Nayeon was mentioned here but not Bang Chan, it should be near the end of 2010 before Chan joined. Sometimes, if things happened in another year, other trainees/idols MIGHT be mentioned. Depends on the situation.

Here's another Bambam related chapter. I still really love writing him. I think writing both Ambiguous and this had made me feel even more for that young boy. HAHAHA. I hope all of you enjoy this too! Votes and feedbacks will be very much appreciated!

peace! lildragongurl
