Sinbad's ship quickly set out of the city. Rat lit a torch and swung around lighting all the lanterns on the ship so they could see during the darkness of early morning. Cale set a lantern down looking at the map in front of him. He looked over and saw Sinbad gazing at a bright star over the horizon.
"So any idea on how we actually get to Tartarus?" Cale asked walking from behind him.
Cale set the map and lantern down on the railing beside Sinbad.
"Tartarus? No no no no.....people get killed in Tartarus." Sinbad dismissed.
"So where are we going?...." Cale asked skeptically.
Pulling out his own map, Sinbad laid it on top of Cale's.
"FIJI!" Sinbad happily declared.
Cale crossed his arms over his massive chest with a small smile.
"Fiji? This time of year?" Cale doubtfully asked.
Sinbad put his hands on his hips.
"Think of the beach." Sinbad said.
"Oh beautiful...if you like mosquitoes." Cale said, slapping his shoulders at the imaginary pests.
"Think of the sun." Sinbad threw his hands out.
"It's monsoon season" Cale replied.
"And the women.." Sinbad added.
"They're cannibals, Sinbad." Cale retorts.
"Exactly.." Cale rolled his eyes and groaned walking away.
"Come on Cale." Sinbad whines.
"He's your friend! Odette's brother!" Cale turned to face him with a stern expression.
Sinbad rolled his eyes.
"Listen to you, you sound like my mother." Sinbad raised his hand and did a 'talking to much' gesture with his hands.
Sinbad quickly brushed Cale's concern. "Proteus will be fine.""You're sure of that?" Cale put his hands on his hips challengingly.
"You and I both know that Dynous is not gonna let them execute his only son, and Odette has always been very persuasive. Between the two of them I'm sure he'll be fine."
"So we're running away." Cale pointed his hand out in exasperation, disbelief on his face.
"We're retiring. We don't need another score, we've got enough." Sinbad shook his head and turned away.
"Now set a course for Fiji." Cale grudgingly did that.
Sinbad turned to the rest of his men at the top of the steps.
"Gentleman, we're going to Fiji!" Sinbad declared.
The men cheered. Sinbad walked to the door that lead to the lower deck. Walking down the stairs he muttered angrily.
"Cale...book...uahhh....Proteus..." Opening the door to his room he froze and quickly closed it back. Walking around looking at his things was Marina and Odette. With the door closed he shook his head, trying to figure out how they got there. He peaked back in to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. He watched Marina accidentally break of the fingertip of a skeleton. Jerking back again, he made a wide-eyed grimace. He was headed to Fiji and Proteus' fiancé and sister were on his ship. He took in a deep breath and composed himself before walking in with his trademark smirk.
"...From Pompeii....And this is from a brothel in Syracuse." Odette muttered holding up a bedazzled bra.
Sinbad leaned down to her ear from behind.
