Chapter 4: Draining Days

The rules and regulation has been set, as they wait for the drive to be charge will Dunstan change his mind.

I stop and think for a moment.

Dunstan said: I will just get outside.
Hayato said: Enjoy outside.

I walk outside the house and visit the park where there are only kids playing during weekend, as I carefully watched these kids I felt the need to sacrifice my life for them.

Dunstan said: I guess this is what the feeling of being a hero.

My next destination is a busy mall nearby as I watch all people walk by, different story unfolds.

Dunstan said: All I can see is people laughing and having a good times to themselves.

Des suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Des said: That's right, its a mall everyone should be happy.

I'm shocked.

Dunstan said: Oh what are you doing here?
Des said laughingly: I have a date today but I can't contact the girl, her phone is out of reach.
Dunstan said: You still didn't change.
Des said: Why should I? Life is a game I want to be one step ahead of others *laughs* may I join you?
Dunstan said: I will walk around the city, are you ok with that?.
Des said: The city has more pretty girls lets go.
Dunstan said: This is not the right time to go chick hunting but I'm on fired up.

My seriousness mood turned into a care free one, as we walk around the city.
Des see's a pretty girl alone. Des suddenly picked up fresh flowers.

Des said: Look Dunstan this is how I move.

Des move closely to the pretty girl.

Des said: Hey Ms will you have this flowers in exchange for your number?
Girl said: No thanks.
Des said: Ok just have it even if you don't give your number.

The girl's boyfriend suddenly appeared.

Boyfriend said: Is there something wrong here?
Girl said: This jerk is bugging me out.

The boyfriend get frustrated.

Des said: Lets run Dunstan, Mission failed.
Dunstan said: What the!

We run around the city, after a while we stop.
We're desperately catching our breathe due to exhaustion from running.

Dunstan said: Stupid what was that?
Des said: That's life, full of rejection and running?

As we smile and laugh to each other.

Dunstan said: I'm gonna admit that was fun though.
Des said: We still have the whole night wanna drink on our way home?
Dunstan said: Sure.

We walk through the nearby mini mart to buy a beer. While heading home the two of us started to drink the beer while walking.

Des said: How's life lately?
Dunstan said: Full of uncertainty.
Des said: You look like you are bearing too much problem far more than being a heart broken.
Dunstan said: You truly know me. Let me ask you a question.
Des said: Ok.
Dunstan said: What if you have a powers would you sacrifice yourself for the sake of others?
Des said: It's like being a hero, of course I would and then girls would love me *laughs*.
Dunstan said: What if you are sacrificing yourself without people knowing it. Like they didn't know that the world is endanger and they didn't know you saved them?
Des said: Even though I'm care free I still got a heart. I would still sacrifice myself for the greater good but I want them to build me a statue that will transcend to my descendants *Laughs*.
Dunstan said: You're drunk already.
Des said: No I'm not, sometimes I'm just deep you know.
