Keir smiled as he snuggled into Lucas's chest, Lucas's muscular arms wrapping tighter around him, pulling him away from the edge of the narrow sofa that they lay upon. Keir pressed his bare foot against Lucas's ankle as their legs tangled in a mass of sinew and cotton, making Lucas laugh, chest rumbling against Keir's body.
"Your feet are cold, like snow," Lucas said, tucking Keir's foot beneath his to warm him up, Keir grateful for the contact despite not feeling cold in the slightest.
"I'm not making you cold, am I?" Keir asked, dark brow creasing as he looked up at Lucas, who shook his head, pressing a soft kiss on Keir's forehead, breathing in his scent.
"Quite the opposite," Lucas said, Keir shivering as Lucas's lips trailed down to peck the side of his eye, to his sculpted cheekbone, the rosy blush on his cheek, and then to the corner of his mouth. Keir grew impatient, squeezing his hand between them to capture Lucas's jaw, firmly guiding him to his lips.
"Here," Keir commanded, Lucas laughing as he rolled over, hovering his toned body over the thinner man. Curly blonde hair fell over his eyes, Keir smiling fondly as he ran his fingers through it, pushing the strands away to peer into Lucas's eyes. Leaning down, Lucas kissed Keir again and again, each kiss chaste, though not lacking in passion. They just wanted to feel each other, commit the feeling of their embrace and sweet kisses to memory before they would be taken away by a wedding band and a vow.
"You're beautiful," Lucas breathed, staring at the entirety of Keir's face. Even though he had often stared at this face, every time he took in the gentle slope of his nose, the refined, masculine curve of his jaw, the sensual curve of his lips, and those damned blue eyes, it was as if he was seeing him for the first time. Lucas felt a wave of awe wash over him every time he gazed at the porcelain statue beneath him, the man too beautiful to be real.
But he was real. The feeling of his body beneath him was real.
Keir gave Lucas a wry smile, turning his head to the side slightly to gently nibble the wrist Lucas had placed beside him.
"You don't call another man beautiful," Keir said, Lucas grinning as Keir kissed the skin he had just been holding between his teeth.
"But you are, more than words can describe," Lucas said, Keir giving him an odd look, before letting out a loud laugh. "What?" Lucas asked, frowning. Keir covered his mouth with his hand, body shaking as his laughs dissipated, eyes bright with mirth.
"Many people have called me that before, but I had never really cared," Keir said, turning back to face Lucas. "But when you say it, I can't help but want to hear it again, as sickly sappy as it is."
"You're beautiful," Lucas said again, Keir's smile widening.
"When did you start to think of me in this way?" Keir suddenly asked, eyes curious as he gestured to their entangled bodies, Lucas blushing slightly.
"It's hard to say," Lucas admitted. "It was probably long before I could admit it to myself." Lucas gave Keir a sad smile, the other man nodding in understanding, kissing his lips as if to erase the frown that stained it. "What about you?"
"Me?" Keir repeated, Lucas nodding. Keir thought carefully for a moment before speaking. "Probably in the forest, after the bear. The way you looked at me... I think that was when it really changed for me, though I definitely found your physical appearance quite... appealing before that moment." Keir laughed as Lucas blushed all the way to his ears. "Cute."
"I am not 'cute'," Lucas grumbled, pinching Keir's cheek as he lowered his body weight onto the man, his heavy frame making Keir laugh as he playfully shoved Lucas onto his back before settling himself at his side.
