Clips of what happened during the double eviction began to play. After Jason won the veto Kaytelynn had Josh in the other room. "I don't think you're going to like what I have to say," Kaytelynn said. "You're targeting Paul?" Josh said raising his eyebrows. Kaytelynn nodded as Josh took a deep breath. "I know this puts you in a bad position but think about it. Whose literally got the entire house wrapped around his finger? If he makes it to final 2 again none of us are winning," Kaytelynn said. "I have to think about it," Josh said. "Josh, I'm asking you to trust me on this. Vote him out. It's the only way you or I have a chance to win," Kaytelynn said as she left the room.
After Paul was evicted Christmas looked pissed. "Why did you do that?" she asked Kaytelynn annoyed. "I knew you were going to be mad. I love Paul as a person but as a gameplayer he's so dangerous. None of us were going to win against him. Sorry but it's the truth," Kaytelynn said. "You shouldn't have made that move Kaytelynn. I know I told you he was targeting you but we had this under control," Christmas said. "If someone is targeting me, I'm not just going to wait around for them to get into power and take me out. Sorry but I'm not," Kaytelynn said. "I was trying to tell you to work on your relationship with Paul, not take him out," Christmas said frustrated. "I know that but you heard his speech. There was nothing I could do to change his mind about wanting me out of this game. I know you're mad now but I was looking out for our game," Kaytelynn said. "You were looking out for yourself," Christmas said annoyed as she wheeled off. "I knew Christmas was going to be pissed after I took Paul out of the game. She was very attached to him. I'm just hoping this doesn't cost me my number 1 ally in the game," Kaytelynn said in the DR.
The doorbell then rang as the houseguests got up. "What's up guys," Derrick said as he walked through the door. "Oh my God Derrick from BB16 just walked through the door and I'm just hoping he's not joining us in the game. We already got one vet out we don't need another playing with us," Kaytelynn laughed in the DR. "I'm the next twist," Derrick said as the houseguests looked shocked. "No I'm just playing with you guys," Derrick said as the houseguests looked relieved. "I just want to say congratulations for getting past the first half of the season and also surviving the double eviction. That's a big accomplishment. So you guys should be proud," Derrick said as the houseguests cheered.
The houseguests reflected on the season with Derrick about showmances, friendships, and so on. "Kaytelynn, you definitely didn't get into any showmances," Derrick said. "What can I say I'm irresistible," Kaytelynn said jokingly. "Nah having Ramses my GBF, Gay Best friend is enough for me," Kaytelynn said as she linked arms with Ramses. As the video changed to her and Paul's relationship in the game.
"When you told me week 1 you had something to confess to me I thought you were going to be like...so I'm related to your ex-girlfriend. Surprise," Paul said. "Seriously?" Kaytelynn laughed. "Yeah. Dude you look like you could be sisters or cousins or something," Paul said. "I promise you I didn't even know you had an ex who looked like me," Kaytelynn said shaking her head. "Kaytelynn looks so much like my ex-girlfriend to the point where I thought she might have been related to her. As time has gone on I've realized that's not the case at all," Paul said in the DR as the clip changed.
"How do you feel about gondola rides?" Paul asked. "Not to sound stupid but what's a gondola? Is it like those boat things people in Italy ride on?" Kaytelynn asked. "Yeah," Paul said. "They scare me dude. Like one false move and they'll like capsize over. I already am not a fan of water and that little boat looks like if you sat on it the wrong way you'd be in the water," Kaytelynn said as Paul couldn't help but laugh. The clip then changed to them up in Paul's HOH room. "So you were a gymnast?" Paul asked. "Yeah I did gymnastics until I was like 12 or 13," Kaytelynn said playing around with something in the HOH room. "So that means you're flexible," Paul said. "Paul," Kaytelynn said as she chuckled shaking her head. "What? I'm just curious," Paul said. "You ask me the weirdest of questions I swear," Kaytelynn laughed. "The more I've gotten to know Kaytelynn the more I've liked her in this game. She's funny, kind-hearted, and someone I genuinely enjoy being around," Paul said in the DR as clips of him spinning her around played as Kaytelynn laughed as well as a clip of Kaytelynn throwing a pillow at him. "Paul is like my annoying older brother. Like we're constantly at odds but we love each other at the end of the day," Kaytelynn said with a shrug as the video ended.
It was then time for the HOH competition which Derrick was hosting. Since Kaytelynn was outgoing HOH she was not eligible to compete but the other houseguests began to compete in the new HOH competition. Who would reign victorious? Find out next time on Big Brother!
