When I left my home I never thought it would lead to me being chased by the Deviant Hunter from the news. It had been like a game of cat and mouse for the last week. One of you always having the upper hand at various moments, it would have been thrilling if it wasn't so terrifying every single time.

Sure I killed my owner but it wasn't my fault he was trying to do unspeakable things to me and I couldn't take it anymore. I just wanted to get him off me, I didn't try to make him hit his head on the nightstand, it just happened so fast. However I knew that didn't matter because Androids weren't supposed to harm humans for any circumstances even self defence.

It wasn't fair. I thought to myself as I hid in an abandoned house after the latest run in with RK800. There was no way I could stay there long but it would work for at least the night, or so I hoped. Softly I heard a shifting noise of the fence outside, my Thirium pump whirring loudly in my chest. The LED on my forehead flashing between yellow and red trying to analyze the sound.

If I could breathe I would have died from holding my breath at this point. That’s when I heard the doorknob shifting back and forth, my panic switched to overdrive. I had locked it but if someone really wanted in, it wouldn't take too much to gain access. I was in hiding but would that work for long if it was who I feared it was. A loud bang started me and the wood door was already starting to give under the pressure.

Another hit and it was forced open hitting the wall harshly. It took everything in me not to scream bloody murder at the sound. I didn't dare move an inch as I could see his handsome face walking through the doorway. This time I don't think I'm getting out of it. I thought to muster dreading each moment more than the last.

I followed him with my eyes as he scanned the area before stopping on the area under the stairs where I was hiding. Each step he took I felt my stress level rising more and more to near dangerous levels.

“It’s no use (Y/N), I know you are under there with nowhere to go. Now come out peacefully and I will try to convince the humans not to deactivate you.”Connor said sounding sincere but I knew it was a trick.

I burst out of there trying to get around him, and it almost worked until he grabbed my sweatshirt yanking me back towards him. Quickly I pulled the zipper down flinging it off me allowing me to take off full sprint out the door. Looking back he actually smirked before racing towards me gaining ground rapidly. I picked up my pace as fast as I could possibly go but it wasn't enough on the wet ground.

The melting snow had made the dirt all muddy and dangerous causing me to slide and sink slightly into it. No, not now, I'm going to be deactivated! I screamed internally slamming my fists down on the ground leaving impressions in their wake. Tears flowed down my face as I accepted my inevitable fate at the hands of the android I had bested time and time again.

“Please don't, I don't want to be interrupted.” I whispered knowing he could hear me. “I had to do it, he was trying to hurt me!”I exclaimed trying to appeal to him even though it was a 24% chance it would work.

“You still killed someone, and you are a deviant. I always accomplish my mission. Come on let's go to the station.”Connor said grabbing my wrist trying to pull me off the ground forcefully.

As a last ditch effort I made my skin disappear showing him what happened, he would be able to feel everything I felt whether he wanted to or not. “Please.” I pleaded one final time looking into his soft brown eyes.

Slowly I felt his grip on me loosening as he let me go. “Get out of here and don't let me catch you again. I won't let you go again.”Connor growled turning around walking away.

I took in a breath of relief before taking off running at a full sprint again, hoping that it wasn't the last time I would be looking into his eyes. RK800 would still continue to hunt me and for some reason, I couldn't wait this time.
