chapter 17: this is only the beginning

A.N: just to let you know, this is not the last chapter, there's plenty of more to come :) its sounds so dramatic n stuff but that's the point of the title haha ok carry on.:)

Midna's P.O.V

I'm falling deep, deep down as I screamed my lungs out, I see Gerard falling in front of me bleeding; he tries falling faster and finally reaches up to me and pulls me into his arms as he turns around. we landed on a car making it break and hit Gerard's head then we heard the paramedics and policemen arrive as people on the streets were watching. 

Midna:"Gee, please stay with me. Gerard please, look at me."

Gerard:"hey sugar."

I smiled that he was still with us and heard the guys come out.

Ray:"come on guys, I need help."

he says as they all picked up Gerard.

Midna:"wait but the paramedics are on their way."

frank:"paramedics won't be able help to us, they're useless with vampires."

he says as they take him inside the school again.

Midna:"wait but isn't that place filled with vampires?"

Ray:"they left after Gerard fell off the roof to save you besides, their master needed help."

Midna:"what are you talking about?"

Frank:"Gerard stabbed your vampire father and then jumped off the roof to rescue you."

he says, we arrive in empty science classroom and place Gerard on the desk. the guys started taking off his shirt revealing a huge hole in his chest. it looked so painful that I decided to not look.

Mikey:"you can wait outside if you want. we'll take care of it from here."

I nod and walk out the door as people were coming out of the cafeteria with fear and tears in their eyes.

I waited patiently as I heard Gerard scream in pain while the guys fixed him up.

after about 2 hours, the guys come out of the room smiling.

Ray:"he wants to see you."

I smile at him and walk inside finding Gerard laying on the desk with a huge bandage around his chest.

Gerard:"hey sugar."

Midna:"hey Gee, how are you feeling?"

Gerard:"never better."

Midna:"listen um...the guys told me what you did...thank you."

Gerard:"you don't have to thank me, it's what mates do. besides the only reason I'm still here is because I found my mate; because this...this is something that a vampire can't survive." *chuckles*

he says making me chuckle as well as I held his hand and looked down.

Gerard:"sugar look at me."

he says as he places his hand under my chin to meet my eyes With his.

Gerard:"I'll be fine. there's gonna be trouble along the way for sure. this is only the beginning...I need you to be strong."

I nod as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

Midna's Father's P.O.V (a.n: his name from now on will be Vincent)

Vincent:"AHH!!"

I said as I grabbed a cup and threw it to the wall as my Wife Terri tries fixing the wound on my back.

Terri:"you're lucky we found an antidote for this."

Vincent:"whatever."

Terri:"don't worry, you'll get them."

Vincent:"I know I will. I just need a bigger army.
