Chapter 24: Let the games begin part 1

Midna's P.O.V

There were two vampires in each side holding both my arms as they lead me to a room. this castle was huge, it felt like we have been walking for hours when really it's only been a few minutes. The artwork on the walls creeped the hell out of me; most of them had a guy biting a woman's neck as blood flowed down her neck, as you can see, it wasn't a very cool thing to look at. where the hell is Gerard? we continued walking and then stopped in front of a huge door that was being guarded by black eyeliner vampires. the guard vamps opened the doors revealing many more vampires. if i had to guess...my estimate would be around...a hundred or more? it was a lot but none of them was gerard or his friends.

We walked inside the room as the guards closed the doors again. i look ahead as i see the guy with blond hair in the middle of everyone else with his arms crossed. i didn't notice this but all the vampires were tied up with chains from their wrists and ankles. the blond guy let out an evil laugh as he saw my concerned face.

guy:"i bet you're wondering why these fellow vampires are chained."

he says, i stayed quiet as i wait for him to finish. as i wait, the guards start to chain me as well, they handcuffed my wrists and my ankles and it hurt as hell.

guy:"we're gonna play a little game. You see, these vampires are strong but the chains are strong too. they haven't eaten in months. they're gonna try with all their might to get unlocked from their chains while you fight your way to freedom. well basically, you need to reach that key over there and save yourself. once you do you'll need to find the key to open the doors as well. if you succeed and let yourself free, i shall be waiting out that door with your prize. if you fail.."

he says as he smirks and takes closer steps towards me.

"if you fail. everyone you care for will die. including him. now we don't want that now do we?"

he asks and grabs my chin with his icy cold hands. he laughs and lets me go as he starts walking out the door with the guards.

guy:"let the games begin."

he says, the door shuts tightly and the chained vampires start struggling to get lose. i felt my heart beat as i look around for the key. i found it but it was hard to reach. i tried getting close to it but it was useless. it was only about 2 inches away from my hand. all i heard was groaning and teeth scratching with chains moving around. i try getting close to it and was almost about to reach it until i heard a chain break lose. i turn around and see that a vampire was free from one hand. i try ignoring it and go back to what i was doing. after a few more tries, i was able to reach it. finally!!  i unchain myself and get up to open the door until i find it completely locked. shit i forgot i had to find the other key. i tried the one from my chains but it was too small. vase! i need to find a vase! i look around but found nothing other than flower vases.

i heard more chains break. i have to do this quickly. i checked every flower vase but there was nothing. i sigh with anger until i realize that a vampire in the center of the room was wearing it as a necklace. how the fudge am i supposed to get that without getting a bite mark?! i heard more chains break lose. i'm running out of time and i swear i could hear my heart beat. i walk slowly towards the angry vampire as he tried reaching out to me. i swear these vampires are like zombies except they're more human like...if you know what i mean. i just need to go for it and do it quick and it's all good. the vampire reached for my shoulder as i ribbed off the key from his neck but his chain also broke lose.
