chapter 16: sacrifice

Gerard's P.O.V

me and the guys were walking down the hall quietly waiting for something or someone to appear but it was so quiet. we continued looking around until someone jumps up to me and knocks me down causing more vampires to show attacking the guys. the vampire that knocked me down started punching me until I was finally able to punch him back and kick him off of me. wait he looks familiar, It was Midna's dad.

Gerard:"what happen to you?"

I asked as the guys kept fighting with his little pack.

m.'s dad:"me and Midna's mother got bitten. but, just because we're vampires now, doesn't mean that were not vampire hunters Any more."

Gerard:"yea, I figured that one on my own."

I said, he laughs then runs towards me but I pushed him into the lockers on my right. if he's a vampire hunter then why does he have a little pack of vampires?

m's dad:"I knew you were gonna think that. these are my slaves. I'm also know as their father."

Gerard:"so you're the king of vampires?"

m's dad:"yes. which makes you my son. but, as much as it hurts. I want my children dead!"

he says as he rushes towards me with a small stake in his hand. I ducked and the stake hit one of his friends. I would never call the guy my father, ever. I'd rather die then call him my father. besides, he's not my real father, my real parents are at home being bored as ever. as the stake hit his friend, that person burned and disappeared, in other words, Mikey was saved from that guy.

Midna's P.O.V

everyone countinued being quiet while we heard helicopters going around and banging outside the doors, every hit I heard would make a tear fall out, I'm so worried. I really hope he's ok.

Gerard's P.O.V

we continued fighting until Midna's dad stood up from the floor and smiled widely at me.

m's dad:"who's hungry?"

he says, his little pack stopped hitting our group and turned to look at him.

m's dad:"I hear that the school's cafeteria is filled With food."

he says, he laughs then disappears, the same thing for his group. Midna. I started panicking and made my way to where the cafeteria was but the doors were shut tight. I started banging on the doors until I hear people screaming, running and banging on doors to get out, some even broke Windows to get out. the more screams I heard, the angrier I got. I started kicking the door and it eventually fell.

the whole place was a mess, broken tables, broken glass, blood on floor, dead people, mini spots with fire and people running for their lives. I make my way to the table where Midna was at but she was gone except for her friends.

Gerard:"where's Midna?"

Lily:"a man took her, we don't know where."

I got angrier; the more I thought of Midna being missing, the more angrier I got, I felt like I was going crazy and just felt like screaming at everyone. I started looking around and saw my guys fighting, people running and hiding, then I see a shadow go upstairs to the school's roof. I made my way to the door while punching other vampires and finally Made it upstairs.

I take a few more steps and turn to my right seeing Midna's dad holding Midna by her arm on the edge of the roof. I gasp and take a few more steps forward until he stops me.

m's dad:"stop! you move, she dies."

Gerard:"let her go."

I says as I felt my blood boiling with anger.

m's dad:*laughs* "glad too."

he says, he lets go of arm causing her to fall a little.

Gerard:"stop!"

I said, he grabbed her arm again as she started crying.

m's dad:"I'll let her go under one condition."

Gerard:"name it."

m's dad:"kill yourself."

he says and throws me a stake for me to take. I hear Midna crying even more as she shakes her head telling me to not do it.

Midna:"don't do it Gerard! ahh!"

she screams as he grabs her by her neck to be ready to drop her. I picked up the stake from the floor and pointed it to my chest as I heard Midna cry. I mouthed to her 'i love you' and stabbed my heart with the stake and feel to the floor, my eyes were open and I was still able to hear.

m's dad:*laughs* "I guess I should let you go now."

he says to Midna as she struggles to get out of his hands until he laughs.

m's dad:"sike."

he says and drops her as I heard her scream. since I was still alive a little, I used my last breath to take the stake out of my chest and place it into his back then I fall of the roof to catch Midna.
