(Nagisa POV)
That being said, we both shook hands, accepting the challenge. Once we stepped inside, it was game time.

We played the simple ones first, him beating me twice in a row because I was distracted, complaining about how we should've started with the good ones. But on my third loss, that's when I turned on beast mode. My competitive side revealed itself.

We played for what seemed like hours, and in truth, we did play for hours, it was dark out the last time I looked outside, both of us getting to know each other through games, getting to know our competitive sides, I mean. I'll be completely honest, I had fun. My mind completely forgot about the fact that we were ditching school.

My brain blocked out all of my worries. I wasn't thinking about school, I wasn't thinking about the bullies, and I wasn't thinking about mom. The only thing that was on my mind was 'I need to win', and the only person on my mind was this redhead that ended up loosing in the end.

By the time we exited the arcade, I was bouncing around like a bunny and being all giddy, giggling every two seconds. "Ha! I won! In your face, Skyscraper! Who's the winner? I am! Who's the loser? You are!"

I laughed when I saw his expression turn into one of annoyance. "I'll admit, I underestimated your skills. I'm impressed, pretty boy. You sure did empty my wallet..."

I shrugged. "Hey, you said that the loser was gonna pay."

"Yeah, yeah. But I had fun, it's the most fun I've had in a while. Thanks."

I stopped bouncing and turned to look at him, a smile on my face. "No, thank you, this is the most fun I've had in years..."

"Oh?"

"Mm-hmm!" Before I could say anything else, my stomach let out an embarrassingly loud grumble, making my face burn up. "Oh...haha...I guess I'm a little hungry."

"Pfft, a little?" He laughed.

It was quiet for a moment, before an idea popped into my head. "Hey, do you wanna go somewhere and catch something to eat?"

He looked thoughtful, holding his chin with his hand. "I'd like to, but I'm broke thanks to a certain someone."

Scaring my cheek with my finger, I let out an awkward laugh. "Yeah, sorry, but it's my treat. It's the least I could do for letting me have a great time."

He grinned and started walking, me following beside him. "If you're paying, how can I decline?"

We settled to eat at a local Chinese restaurant, we were already sitting at the table, poking our noses at the menu.

"...I think I'm just gonna get some sushi."

The redhead dropped the menu, looking at me with an incredulous expression. "You're not serious right? The stomach growl from earlier sounded like you could eat a horse."

"Meh, not much of an eater."

"Somehow I find that hard to believe..."

With a shrug I placed down the menu, having already decided what I want to eat. "So what are you gonna order?"

"I think I'll go with the sweet and sour pork. Not that hungry at the moment, count yourself lucky, if I actually was, your wallet would be empty."

"Eh...hehehe...."

The waiter came shortly after and took our orders, handing us our preordered drinks and now we were just staring at each other as we drank. This guy. Kidnapping me for a day, playing games, having fun. To think that we go to the same school too...

"So~" he started. "Want to play 'would you rather' while we wait?"

"Sure, you start."

"Okay"
