Karma certainly wasn't expecting this. The boy he met at the grocery store? He went to the same school as him. Not only that, but he was currently being surrounded by a bunch of delinquents, some of them having the nerve to physically hurt him.
Karma being the person he is, walked up to the scene. The group didn't seem to notice him, so he cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone there, including the bluenet.
"The hell are you?" One of the punks snarled at him. But karma just ignored him and brought his attention to the blue-haired boy who was clutching his stomach with a pained look on his face.
"Hey, bluebell. Is there a problem here?"
The bluenet coughed before looking at Karma in the eye. "Oh nah, just getting bullied by these punks. Nothing new, what's up Skyscraper?"
"Oh, nothing much. I was just walking around and saw these idiots crowded here and thought I'd take a look." He replied casually, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
Karma saw the confused looks that the delinquents were giving them, probably not expecting them two to be having a normal conversation at a time like this.
"Anyway... do you want me to do something about these punks?"
The blue-haired boy raised a brow before shaking his head, causing the red-head to tilt his head to the side in confusion.
"I appreciate the offer, but I wouldn't want to get you in trouble..."
Hearing this, Karma grinned. "Trouble? Puh-lease, trouble is my middle name."
The delinquents stared at the red-head in shock before proceeding in sending deathly glares in his direction.
"The fuck you--"
"You got a problem?" Karma cut the punk off. He glared at the bunch, taking steady steps towards the short boy. He stood in front of him, his back facing the bluenet as he cracked his knuckles, the sound causing some of them to shudder.
A sadistic smirk played at his lips, his glare hardening. "Leave before I make you."
It was as if he switched personalities, before, the bullies saw him as some kid who wouldn't mind his own business, now they saw him as the devil himself.
The bunch ran away like the chickens they are, one of them shouting, "You won't get away with this!"
Karma simply laughed. "I already did, chicken shit!"
Turning around, he took notice of the boy. He was beat up pretty badly... no wonder he had bruises when he met him at the store. Karma saw how he sighed in relief, but then a look of worry adorned his face.
"You didn't need to help..." He mumbled. "They'll most likely come back and pick a fight with you."
The taller of the two placed a hand on his head, ruffling his bangs. "Eh, Bluebell, they don't scare me, I've dealt with worse. They are just scared little bully-wannabes who know nothing of the real world until it smack them right across the face."
The smaller looked doubtful.
"No worries, they're gonna get what's coming to them."
"Uh... what does that mean?"
"I may or may have not filmed when they were surrounding you and hitting you. Just gotta show this to one of the teachers in this shit-ass school and they'll be expelled for violation of the school rules. Luckily for you, I was here to save the day."
The blue-haired boy coughed out a laugh, clutching onto his stomach again. "You're unbelievable, Skyscraper. You have my thanks. Honest."
Karma ruffled up his bangs again. "No problem." He grinned. "Hey, the bell rang about half an hour ago..."
"Wait what?!"
"...You wanna ditch with me for the day?"
"But...but--"
"No buts. You're coming with me!" Karma grabbed onto his arm and pulled him along with him. Today was gonna be a fun day.
